Probably the first.

I can see that feature consuming a lot of their bandwidth.

A ping consumes virtually no bandwidth, and unless they specifically targeted us to block for some reason it wouldn't explain why the other checkers aren't also down.

Most likely it's an ISP, region or path specific issue. We're seeing issues with other game providers as well to various degrees, just none as drastic.

Perhaps they are attempting to do away with your server status checker. I can see it now

As the employees steadily backtrack out of the office, they can only hear the sound of distressed keyboards and the IT head screaming "SOMEBODY CALL KOREA! THIS TINY WEBSITE IS PINGING US NIGHT AND DAY!".

Ok, it looks like Nexon is under attack again. They're firewalling after x connections in y threshold.

Last time they did that was back during their huge instability.

Makes sense with Union coming up. Goodbye Mage economy. Not 100% sure, just seems odd I can't login after MTSSnowy posts that in the Evan section.

Hate to break it to you, but there are several dozen of that staff(along with 244 ones) being sold in mts for 43k nx each, and they have been there for nearly 3 weeks now.

I only seen one worth the same amount as in the picture, wtc are you seeing O_O Clean Staff 5 easily sell at 200k clean, anybody who puts it under 150k shouldn't exist lol

I've seen some unique nearly 300matk ones sold for 100k nx. Harder to find out about these things since they're not in MTS.

If I recall correctly... fire (5) has poison bonus, poison (6) has fire bonus, and both ice (7) and lightning (8) have ice bonus right now.

Oh I knew the other ones have been duped, Staff 5 is the newest to be duped I believe. In Khaini, only 5-6 existed before world transferring began all of which were bought off the MTS clean for 200-300k NX.

[MENTION=7709]Sunlight[/MENTION], Staff 5 gives fire bonus. If the problem still isn't fixed, 6 also gives fire bonus. 7 gives lightning and 8 give lightning. Wasn't really paying attention. If Staff 5 really does not give 10% fire dmg..I am too funded.

OT: Connectivity problems seem to be gone

A little trick i learned is that if you use the Task Manager and click on the Maplestory Process, set it to Above Normal Priority, It crashes less often. This doesnt save you from invalid pointer crashes but it does help if you run out of memory because it will allocate more before crashing, and might give you enough time ot make it back.
