i guess it does happen to everyone...including me. people would tend to grind for several hours in a day to reach a goal as motivation...whether reaching to 3rd/4th jobs, maxing skills, getting to use better equipment, or something else...i did a lot of grinding to reach 3rd and 4th job...but now to me, once you passed a little bit beyond 4th job, you start to get less motivated as you've reached most of your goals, and tend to grind and train a bit less...
grinding at high levels is very boring, very tedious, and sometimes end up as not that rewarding once as you'd expect when you actually level...
so now...i just hunt bosses for exp and loot to level...as to me, it's not worth to grind at skeles or newts for hours in a day to level...it's just too boring... and leveling to 200 has never been one of my goals to keep grinding and i don't think i want to go to level 200, that'd be a little too much for me...at most is just to max out a few of my 4th job skills....

I tried something new today while training. I just put about 6 little pieces of paper over the exp bar, enough so that I couldn't see it, and taped it up. I got the idea from earlier in this thread (I think) and it really did work. Usually I'm constantly looking at my exp bar and checking my exp/hr, but with this I just sat back and grinded without even thinking about it, which made it more enjoyable. I was also pleased to see I got 17%, and i probably would've gotten like 5% if I didn't do this

I royally 'hate' grinding. I'd rather do quests or train/chat with friends. That last option makes me die a lot, but it's not like I care. I'm the kind of person that gets bored easily if things get too repeatitive. I like change and experiencing different ways of doing things.
But on rare occasions, I happen to grind for max two hours. Mostly for 2x EXP events or when training a friend.
Just adding something: I hate it as well when you go on to chat with friends, but they neglect you [when I say this, I mean more than once. It is understandable when you are close to levelling up] only to level. Very disappointing. ;<

Meh. I don't mind grinding, but I've got two little kids and plenty to do around the house, so getting a couple hours straight in is a miracle.

If I`m doing nothing the whole day and am EXTREMELY bored..... maybe 14 hours?
Otherwise, maybe 1-3 hours?
However, My Longest Session was like 70 hours.

I actually bought a 2x coupon to go with the 2x EXp on Demethos. It was certainly fun! But, I ran into a problem... not grinding as long meant less money! Having trouble raising the funds to afford equips. And then I discovered Jr. Cactuses. >_>
But.. this is not something I'm going to do often. It's rare that I can grind for four hours without any interruptions, so I probably won't be spending any more on getting extra EXP.
