Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

So, what's the best thing to spend IP on?
I would think champions but a bunch of the champions in there are already available for me, so I don't really know.
Runes?
I'm guessing Skins are useless.
Everything's a bit confusing.

Available (free) champions rotate every week, so try out interesting looking ones and buy them if you like them.
If you're above level 20, consider getting common runes and setting up some cookie-cutter rune pages (http://solomid.net/guides.php?g=5693). Don't worry about runes below level 20.
Skins are indeed "useless" (but often awesome) and can't be bought with IP anyway. I can't imagine playing Corki riding on anything other than a spatula throwing manatee.

HP Quits aren't worth it. The breakdown was the gold generation quints will pay for the amount of HP you get from HP quints in 13 minutes. Every summoners rift game is longer than 13 minutes, so Gold Generation quints are much more useful for the price, which is 515 compared to 2050.

Buying flat runes for mid-late game dominance? HP Quints were uber-popular because of what they did for your early game. Either way after the nerf they're not such a big thing anymore. I generally take movespeed, but gp5 is nice too.

That's a whopping 700 gold difference the gold generation quints have to overcome + all the creeps in lane you get before your enemy returns. Not saying hp quints are the best, but they aren't as bad as you make them out to be. I personally prefer MS quints as my common quints.

You could make that statement with a lot of other quints xD Though they are less generally applicable/useful to all situations than HP quints are.

I'm picking up +EXP quints, personally - I tend to play supports and AP mids, and both can benefit fairly well from leveling faster. The total of +10% experience gain or so between the support tree masteries and the quints seems fairly nice.

It'd be nice if they had some non-yordle females that didn't have excessive bust sizes. I mean, how sneaky can Akali possibly be with those things bouncing around? Fanservice is one thing, but when it's so exaggerated like this, it just looks silly.

Leona's chest is fairly sizeable, it's just not as blatant due to her armor.

Got yelled at today for having a Bloodthirster on Ezreal. Dude was probably just mad that we lost, but it was still rather funny. Had it at full stacks pretty much the whole game, since I never actually died.

Like I said, it borders on exaggerated to the point of NOT being fanservice - it's similar to mangas/animes like High School of the Dead where none of the women have a normal chest size. Instead of being fanservice, it just comes off as absurd and silly.
