Finished 5.5 page Shakespeare paper a few hours ago, then took a break between that and the microbiology I'm currently studying to check and respond to the 30ish emails I had amassed throughout the day.
One of them was the one I was enigmatically freaking out about here last week. Long story short, I was concerned about my health after a recent sexual encounter, and had a full round of STI tests performed. Everything came back negative = tears of joy.
Not 100% in the clear yet, sadly, because HIV tests aren't accurate until 6 weeks after an encounter due to necessary antibody proliferation, and so I won't have information on everything until late March. But the negatives today are a hopeful sign.

So much good news today!
I got an A- on supposedly the hardest Biology exam this semester, which was over all of cellular respiration, photosynthesis, and then transcription, translation, and DNA replication. Could not be happier with my grade! I also got the email saying I got the mentor position for the Fall semester! I'll get to help guide 5 freshman through their first year at this amazing university. Seriously so excited, and now I'm heading off to the gym then going to a delicious dinner out for a friend's birthday!

Been super busy at work since I've been split out on like 5 different projects now. :< But got awesome in-ear-monitors (think combination earbuds & earplugs) for drumming and stuff, so happy.

Had a busy but fun day at work, due to me being put in charge of my department. I was so busy i forgot how sick i was feeling. Now that i'm home, life is suffering. In the space of an hour i felt weak, drained, achy and like i was gonna throw up, sigh.

Tired as fk. Need to get internship applications done before March 1st, and I'm very much racing against time now.
