I can almost gurrantee that this is the case. It's just a hollow with quincy powers, unless aizen did a back up and made artificial hollows with quincy powers.

Although I see your point, seeing how Arrancars are basically evolved hollows, I still don't get why he'd get mad if he was part hollow.

Again, there is no hole on the body if Ivan, so he might not be a hollow. All that there's left is wait until the next chapter. I think Ivan isn't there to fight Ichigo but to request his help.

Makes sense. I like where this arc is going with this premise in mind.

Given how many parallels there are between Ichigo and Uryu, I wouldn't actually be surprised for Uryu to develop Hollow Powers at some point during this arc.

Well assuming that the Quincy can absorb and manipulate spirit particles, if a fight between hollow-Quincys and the Shinigami were to go down, I'd imagine the Quincy would be pretty dam strong since all of Soul Society can be used towards their power. We really don't know the extent of anything that they can do, since this is the second chapter we have seen them as possible antagonists. Either way, I'd imagine they are significantly strong since they just strolled up to Yamamoto and declared war.

And then fight with ichigo for some reason. I mean, it's not like he's done anything else significant as a character.

It's not gonna work. It would require addapting the story of bleach so much, which the fans wont like, but if they don't, the movie will look totally like a joke. Unless they base it on the very first arc of Bleach, the Substitute shinigami arc, without getting into soul society, I can't see it working.

One of the main reasons for Bleach's success (if not the main one) is Kubos art work, and that can't be brought to the big screen, so unless they hire people like the staff that worked on the effects and costumes for Tron Legacy, It will look bad
