Yes, but technically that's only one sample of idiocy and does not necessarily provide a representation of the whole.

We say that about so many of you...
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Let's agree to compromise and say that you having to hit said button would be your breaking point Rolleyes

In order to resolve the economic turmoil and problems with duplicating items, Nexon will be erasing all mesos and all items in the entire game.

Players will log in to find themselves equipped with beginner Maple Island equipment only.

Furthermore, mesos won't exist at all, monsters will no longer drop any items, and all equipment and use items must be acquired through the cash shop.

Still free to play though!

Do you think before you type?

...Nexon would never be smart enough to actually impliment this! In fact, upon logging it would duplicate your beginner items as some form of glitch where any character with the ign starting in F N P U Y would fall victim too!

Reading skills to hard for me. D:
And I edited my original post to reiterate what I was apparently too stupid to type correctly. the PIC reset system has been broken for at least a year, and my 5 year old account can't be used right now due to it.

Not, sure what your problem is, but many of us here have accounts > 5 years old and have no problems. I even recently reset my PIC using the e-mail verification they have set up and it works fine. So the only real problems are for those accounts that do not have an active e-mail connected to them, and I have a few of those too unfortunately.

Don't know what the other person was talking about but I can say this:

It's worthless and stupid. It should be easy for a specialized keylogger to also screenshot on clicks and upload the screencaps to an external location to reveal the passcode, exactly the problem that made the earlier PIN code technically ineffective. A player also reveals their passcode to anyone watching the screen, so that's kind of stupid. There are PLENTY of secondary authorization methods that can be used, but requiring a second password entered via a software keyboard isn't one of them. Don't other systems have a system where you give them your phone number and they text you a unique code every time you log in? I guess that would require additional infrastructure on Nexon's part though, eh? Not as easy as adding one more field to the database to store a second password and adding a step in the client that asks for the second password.

That's all fine and dandy, but if you don't get keylogged, the main problem is that there's no cooldown on PIC's. Yeah.
So basically, they can guess your PIC for however long they want and you're fucked because unless their internet goes down, they'll have until the next SC to figure your PIC out.

#1: You meet a gamer on an elevator and you go for 20 floors or about 1 minute. Describe a sales pitch on what you would say to the gamer with the intention of encouraging them to play MS. What things are unique or special about MS, etc

I have an active email connected to my account; whenever I attempt to reset it says "PIC or PIN has failed to reset." I've used both links sent, different browsers, cleared my cache.
