But I do love games where I can create stuff. Minecraft is just awful at it. Damn game is coded in Java and runs like complete ass most of the time, no matter what kind of computer you have.

Well, I bought a new computer and it worked bad...

Until I noticed I had java 32 instead of 64 on a Vista. Consider that first, apparently, Java screws up on that usually. After switching, it did wonders. But problems aside, I love the gameplay. And if you hate creepers, wait for ocelots to be implemented. Apparently, creepers are afraid of tamed cats and won't even detonate near them. If you really played the game, I'm guessing you already know what creepers are.

Minecraft is boring to those of us who aren't creative. It only appeals with the fact that you can make your own little piece of heaven. After you can't add anything else, it's boring.
