Strep throat is a LOT more manageable today, mainly because I can move without stumbling/aching. Decided to take the day off from everything school-related too and just focus on getting better for the weekend. I'm going out to Arizona to visit my grandparents with my mom and three year old nephew, so I'm going to need as much energy as I can get to handle them both Highlight--we're spending the first night in some casino town (Laughlin? Idr) so I can use my whole 30-something dollars on gambling and drinks

Brain surgery. No matter how many times I say it, it's still funny as fu'ck.
Stuck in Dallas, meeting was cancelled, pizza I had for lunch is trying to escape, yay!

Drove two badass vehicles today!

Well, I broke my glasses yesterday, so all of today I sat around with my plantain in my hand (a.k.a. did absolutely nothing (my supervisor was worried I'd fall/trip and get hurt (and he'd be held accountable for my well-being, or lack thereof)). Walking around a ship without being able to see clearly is terrible.

Dear diary, today I installed computers next to new born babies, so I had to be quiet and careful. Also in operating rooms.

On topic, today sucked. Next few days will likely be miserable too. With any luck a week or two will pass quickly and things will be back to normal.

Just ordered my new laptop (MSI Microstar GT683DX-840US). Got it about $150.00 cheaper than the labeled price too. Day got a lot better. Estimated shipping date: March 6th - March 16th though, and now I get to be paranoid that it'll get broken somehow by crappy LSs on the ship throwing mail around. God I hope it's protected well.

Oh well. I needed a 15.6in for use when deployed - my massive behemoth of an HP machine was getting beaten up from various storage complications on the ship. Namely not having space for a 17in laptop. And it not truly fitting in my backpack (having to stretch the backpack to make it fit) was problematic. It shall now become my designated internet/questionable downloads computer.[/COLOR]

I have been sick for 3 days now, not getting any better. Apparently life doesn't pause when your sick, so I have to do stuff. Not feeling well. I can't even call sick for work because there is only 2 of us in the department and that person already did 40 hours and we have no overtime rule.

Took me like 6 hours to set up a 30 min test and finally get it working.

Also got my tickets for Carolina Rebellion so stoked for May 5th.

Circles and more circles. I'm so sick of the fu'cked up merry-go-round.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. I hate that shi't.

Three tests this coming week so I'll be cramming the books hard.

Alcohol was the cure. Things are now dead inside me.

Yesterday: Overslept, woke up at 6:20AM, set off for work at 6:30, never got chance to have a shower. Felt gross all day, spent the whole day alone in a room, the guy i work with got really pissed off at me because i spoke back to him (which was in a joking way).

Finished work, went straight to the dental hygienists, who proceeded to go at my teeth with a hook like a serial killer in a teen horror movie. Lots of blood. she created more holes in my teeth than i had before, long story short, she could do nothing to make my teeth look better. She didn't crack a smile through the whole thing, unlike my actual dentist, who is probably one of the most polite, charming and cute guys i've ever met.

When i had to pay for the appointment it turns out the card machine wasn't working, so i had to walk across the road to get some cash out, that machine wasn't working either, i had to walk a few streets away in the rain to get some money out, then walk back to the dentist.

I then had to pick something up from the post office, something my dad assured me i would not need ID for. i did. I looked like a fool because there was a big queue of people behind me.
I then had to walk home in the rain.
Yesterday was a bad day.

Today i have a headache, and i need to get started on my sociology assignment, which is in for tuesday and i still need to hand out questionnaires for. I also need to finish making a presentation for psychology, revise for my psychology exam and also revise for my biochemistry exam which are all next week.

Seriously, February just needs to end, right now.

Went to Best Buy to see about fixing my keyboard. I'd have to ship it for 2-3 weeks so I decided I'd wait and deal with it until after the school year ends since it would be a huge hassle to not have my computer mid-semester.
Glad to be home for the week for a break. Reunited with my bff aka my dog ;-; we'll watch movies together this week.
Also taco night tonight so yay I love coming home to eat my heart out.

I just don't know what I really feel.

I got really sick last night and I still have one more day of work before going into the hospital.
I was not looking forward to a two day hospital stay but now, I can't wait.
So sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.

This may seem odd to some of you but I just want to say, for the record, that NO I am not in New York right now.
