I think Maple Story stood out because it was 2-D.

Unless MS2 is amazing, it'll just die in obscurity.

I like that he used two images from members here and didn't credit them with the finds at all. At least Viaje deserves credit since he dug it out.

As long as he mentions the source it is really not a big deal. You don't go around crediting people for finding visible information as a norm. He could have done it out of respect for SP though, if he frequents the forums at all.

You should absolutely credit whoever finds something of importance like this. It was hidden in plain sight and chances are that if Viaje hadn't posted it then it would've gone unnoticed for some time to come.

It's not like it's terribly difficult to go "Thanks to Viaje of Southperry for the find!" It is terribly unprofessional and kind of sleazy not to give credit for such a find because it comes across as trying to take credit for it yourself. Major and minor news sites and blogs will almost always cite their sources.

If it's anything like the MapleStory trailer videos, I wouldn't mind too much. If it's a 3-D side-scroller it'd be even better =O
