The thing is, for the past month or two people have been using SSS as currency, so Nexon suddenly disabling trade in might hurt legitimate players a lot more than hackers.

How would it hurt legitimate players? Legitimate players wouldn't be using anything but mesos as currency.

The people who actually can dupe them at will have no need for mesos anyways.
The NX ratio is insanely fucked up though.

SSS are a convenient way to do such trades in one go, preventing possible scamming.

Most equipment that's at least decent is minimum max mesos, as sapta said it be a huge pain and risk factor for both parties to exchange more than max mesos.

This is sort of an overzealous statement but at this point I don't feel like legitimate players would even enter the free market because there are so many duped/exploited items that it's not worth the risk.

When did all of this happen??? I didn't see anyone last night charging 1:150 or paying 1:150 o.o

And I was still buying 10 att WGs for like 200-220mil and selling them for 5k NX...did this all happen overnight?

I am confused too, i am in scania and i didn't know all this dupe was going on..., 1:150!?, i swear it was 1:40/50 yesterday!

there are SSS dupping right now.... also in Mardia there are few people that re really selling NX and also there are a lot of Chinese hackers

I haven't used MTS in so long that I forget if the seller can see who bought their item. Can they? Cuz that'd make me awful leery of buying anything from there ever. I'd rather not be targeted and all that.

The problem would rectify itself if people stopped buying the items...even if they went as low as 500 NX, if players stopped to think for two seconds, the duping would be useless for most things because they wouldn't be selling in the MTS.

Highly considering heading out for good this time...the fact that Mardia still doesn't have Empress Cygnus, nor our 6 other channels back, limits us to so much...over Arkarium, over HT, over Zak...and with all the gear out there now there isn't even a boss that needs a huge expedition anymore...anything can be beaten with a 1-6 man party (I guess CHT is an exception bc of the drop thing but I'm even over that).

Great, really happy I spent 20k nx last week to get 100 of those sss to buy a 140 cape recipe. Then he bails on me and I still have the sss. Well, time to make them into mesos before the hackers pineapple me over.
