The manga has actually exsited for a little over a year now. Thing is, I don't think it went past chapter 3, or at least I couldn't find any scans, much less actual information about any chapters afterwards. It takes several creative liberties, such as the Sorceress being your typical wuss of a female mage.

According to the guide, I'm supposed to pump all my SP into fire skills regardless of my Ice Witch choice?

The main purpose of an elestra is for support. Since ice skills are innately weaker than fire skills, leveling them up if you want more damage makes no sense. What the build does get are the skills that would benefit a party the most; that is, the skills that cause freeze.

Therefore, Saurus' fire elestra build yields high freeze rate (usually allowing 1.5x ~ 3x damage) while retaining high damage output with fire skills (but less overall damage compared to seleana). The ice skills are not gotten because they don't do that much damage and you can inflict ice resist debuff through icy shards EX / icy gust (low delay, low CD).

Interesting, but I am not liking where this is going. Not after seeing what happened to MapleStory with the gigantic overload of classes, and that people are already whining about Academics already replacing Archers in general.

That's kind of the flaw with MMOs I guess. As the game ages, and developers struggle to make new and interesting content, things get kind of broken. Not to mention damage kind of scales out of control as well.

even Blizzard is having the same problem with WoW and they suggested a "damage crunch" where they basically nerfed the base damage of all skills back to where they were 3 years ago.

I guess I'm just going to follow his build then. I guess I'll stack %magic damage, or maybe % fire, and hopefully at higher level caps ice skills won't just be for the freezing...doubt it but we'll see.
And I've noticed that Inferno seems to consistently outdamage Chilling Mist. Makes me sad Dropping a lot of ice skills entirely doesn't seem bad anymore.
I don't really think I should use Shatter or Ignite, since shatter ruins all the freezing you've done and burn damage is probably better than anything ignite can do.
Not exactly his build, but it's close, and I get to keep two of my favorite ice skills
Compromise between damage and skills I actually like.

This is why I could send my 1.1k Gold from Argenta to my Gerrant char. Felt weird getting lots of money on Argenta, and having trouble on Gerrant.

I have 1 of each char but I'm a little inacitve. I might be more active now though but

And yea, argenta prices are crazy compared to gerrant. Argenta would be like GMS economy and gerrant would be KMS economy. It's extremely easy to merchant in argenta and now that we have gerrant merged, there's much more people to merch off of.
