Ok... Let's see which challenges Luffy and his crew already have.

Big Mam and all her crew. Maybe, considering we don't yet know if she has any relation to Lola

Supernovas and all their crews. Rivals and enemies aren't the same thing. Them teaming together is an inevitability
Kaidou and his crew. Probably, if only temporarily
All 3 admirals. Maybe, depending on who's the new 3rd
All vice-admirals. No, some of them believe in Moral Justice

Smoker. Maybe, considering he believes in Moral Justice. Ultimately will team up with Strawhats

The revolutionnaries (Even if Luffy is kind of on their side, I am pretty sure we'll see some fighting between them and the strawhats at some point). No that's just stupid, if anything the fight would be a test
All of the pirates who were affiliated with Whitebeard. Apart from his original crew, I doubt the ones will keep from having a fight with Luffy because of what he did in the war. ... You mean as the only person able to actually save Ace, their 2nd division commander? Yeah, they hate his guts. Marco and the rest of the commanders, as well as the allied pirates have a fierce respect for Luffy
Moria (If he's not dead). k maybe
Crocodile. Doubt it at this point
Kuma. For a little bit, he's definitely going to come back as himself
Sentomarou and the pacifistas. yeah
Mihawk (though he trained Zoro so Im not sure if he's an allie or enemy now). Rival thing, won't be surprised if they temporarily team up
The 3 new sichibukai (there has to be some right). Depends who they are
CP9 (They want their revenge). nah, they're off the radar for the foreseeable future.

With all of those guys, do we really need the 4 most OP samurais? That's the point I was trying to make.

You'll see duels between people for sure. But most of them probably won't be permanent allies as Luffy has the plot device power of becoming friends with everyone. Anyway, half of the marines believe in Moral Justice, so it's inevitable that they'll side with Luffy against the World Government and the Gorosei.

I have a feeling moria teamed up with buggy, if not just moria. "Master M"? pretty sure that's probably gonna be moria somehow involved

I thought that at first too, except here's the thing: the legs asks them if they are "more allies of the Shichibukai," which makes it pretty clear that this person has something against the Shichibukai-- not for the Shichibukai. The legs also have a different way of speaking than Buggy. In fact, one of the things I caught the legs saying was "de gozaru" (changed to add this character's odd idiosyncrasy of saying "Buh"). It's usually used in archaic Japanese manners, usually characters who act like old samurai or ninja would say that. So guys, I'm actually inclined to say that these legs ARE the samurai- except his body is separated. The samurai might just not be the real bad guy of this arc.

Now, how might this be possible? Buggy's fruit can't do this unless he trained his power over the timeskip, but there's another perfectly logical alternative. Trafalgar Law can do the same thing-- if he decided to become a Shichibukai, that is. His Devil Fruit ability lets him swap up and move around body parts and attach them elsewhere, yet the person is still alive. You should look over the scene where he, Luffy, and Kid beat up Marines outside the Auction House to see what I mean. Either Trafalgar Law is a villain of this arc, or it's a sign that Trafalgar Law has stopped by and been to this island before.

About Moria- it was seemingly implied that he was killed off, but either way: he has nothing to do with the World Government any more. They declared him dead, if I recall correctly from one of Perona's conversation with Mihawk. It's possible Moria really is still around, but his powers have nothing to do with what we're looking at right now. Hogback was the only who really dealt with surgery and moving around body parts.

But as for Buggy, I have no doubt he was recruited as a new Shichibukai. We'll see him some time.

Buggy being a huge "power" in the war might just give him the leeway he would need to become shichibukai. And because he's been beaten to death by the straw hats he obviously shouldn't be a threat to them. He might even help somehow. Either way if he does have that position, i'm amazed oda has that kind of depth for his story. Buggy was never actually important since his arc.

It's been implied since the end of the war that Buggy became a Shichibukai.

I never saw where. But still, it hasn't been confirmed. I'm not saying it's unlikely. I actually hope it happens. It makes the shichibukai way less of a threat.

Shichibukai are as much of a threat as the marines imo except they can actually fight for the most part. Donflamingo still has potential to be a huge douche as well as insanely strong but i think his power has something to do with manipulating things around him rather than making his actual self strong, which is the type luffy usually does ok against. I think the emperors are going to be the main enemy in the new world rather than the shichibukai who used to be a major opposing force to the straw hats.

Eh, I don't think luffy would be a good person to fight Doflamingo, from what we've seen of his powers, really, you need to be a logia fruit type, so that he doesn't just rip your head right off your body... Maybe brook could survive that, and just put it back on, but the rest of the straw hats would be out of luck (at the moment).

Either that or He'll be a douche bag and puppet control one of the crew members and force a fight on luffy, which i can see being difficult because Luffy doesn't like beating on his friends.

It hasn't been said whether Doflamingo has a devil fruit ability. For all we know, he could be using extremely fine, yet sharp strings to cut and control people. The people he controls can still think for themselves, they just can't control their body. If it's a physical thing, I think Zoro can most probably handle it. Usopp might be able to too, considering he's a ranged fighter.

I'd like to start reading One piece, but knowing both that I've have to read over 6xx chapters and that there are at least 10 years more of story before its over is kind of demotivating. With Naruto, although It might have as much lifespawn, at least I'm uo to date.

Maybe I should just watch the anime? (like 4xx episodes i think)

I suggest you to read it, but watch the fights in the anime. Reason is, I find Oda's battle drawing style kind of hard to understand, at least for me. The anime got great music and animations, but it just takes too much time of your life to watch. I watched up to episode 418 and I can tell you I'm never watching a long anime like that again.

Manga, on the other hand, is kind of fast to read.
