Patch .62 Delay Poll

I voted 5-9 hours, just because I hope it will get delayed that long.

I will not get out of bed at 5am just for Pirates, no matter how long I've been waiting for the class.

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled Patch on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008.

This one involves the game servers, and it'll last for approximately 7 hours.

Me too. And that's a bad feeling to have on a patch you actually want to be delayed.

I say 2 hours. I think Nexon HAS done more preparation than usual with this patch, like one other patch (chinchilla for who guesses which), but not enough.

I don't think preparation has to do anything with the delays. The whole process of it was explained before on another forum I believe.

Anyone who guesses under a total time of 20 hours is delusional. This is gonna be a 24 hourer. ;D

Being that they're adding another class alone will pretty much tell you that there's gonna be bugs and they'll delay it quite a bit. I voted 10-19.

While I certainly don't have the motivation required to do this, I've always thought that a fun thing to organize on here was a game that awarded points to people who accurately predicted Nexon's patch/server-check delays. A running total and high score list could be kept, to see who is best at predicting the delay time. There could be monthly winners, and then a running total for those who are dilligent enough to continually foresee Nexon's failure at game updates.

Anyway, my prediction for this patch is for 'moderate' chaos, not 'utter' chaos.

I picked 5-9, that's what I expect, though 10+ is perfectly possible.

I predicted that it'd be a 14 hour patch, so 7 hours in delays. But, I have a weird feeling Nexon won't be delaying it as much as we all assume. Also, the patch gets over at 8am my time, I'll be in school. I'd like a 5 or 6 hour delay to make it so I can get home and get on with everyone else.
