Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS)
I don't read or watch Bleach myself, but it's been confirmed that the Bleach manga will enter its final story arc starting with the next issue of WSJ.

Hmm, let's hope it is everything we all want and hope for. Both Naruto (can't actually remember if this is accurate, but whatever) and Bleach reaching their final arcs? Should be interesting.

Whereas one piece probably isn't even half way done. I'm not surprised that's how each manga's lifespans would go though especially how hard kubo dropped the ball this time. Hopefully he makes up for it in style.

That just means it got cancelled, which is unfortunate. Kubo wanted another 10 years right? Hopefully he'll create something good, though considering the circumstances, I don't think he'll have enough time.

No. If a manga was cancelled, that means it'd end within a few chapters. I imagine it'll end at the end of this year at the earliest, probably lasting until mid-late 2013. I just can't see WSJ cancelling Bleach, given it's massive fanbase and everything. They're not so stupid as to rush an ending to one of their most popular series, ever.

Still by what Kubo said before, it's definitely ending prematurely.

Well this is a bit sad, but perfectly understandable. I hope it goes out with a Blast.

You can't take it from Kubo that he is a great artist so I hope he comes up with a new Manga. Although he has to learn to administrate space in his pages more efficiently and start planning way ahead on his plot to avoid all the improvisation he did with Bleach. Also, way less characters make it easier to develop a good plot. Just Gotei13 had like 30 "important" characters.

I actually feel like he suffered by over preparation. He wanted to go far with xCution, as far as I can tell, probably to set up an arc far in the future. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if he had to change the arc around because he was told to rap it up and start his final arc as soon as possible. You need a ton of patience to completely enjoy Bleach as a manga as Kubo likes to do a lot of full page spreads and play around with white space. The chapters end up being incredibly stilted otherwise.

Looks like Bleach is in the home stretch o_O

So basically the Quincy are up to something. Makes sense I guess, we had character arcs for ichigos other main friends, I guess it's about time Uryu got his own.

I don't remember the Hollows being that big in Karakura...

Pssh. Introduce new characters, make them fuddle around, get them almost killed, Ichigo saves day. Waste of chapter, but I guess we needed to start somewhere.

Thank god its finally ending.

Everything after SS arc ending was just a big damn mess.

We waited two weeks for this garbage? Seriously? And the main villain is the quincy? My god this is awful..

3 weeks iirc.

My first thought after reading the chapter was "Kubo is trolling, Bleach is ending... after a thousand years lolz"

wtp dude we haven't seen a thing about this yet, why so quick to complain? For all we know it could be Arrancars born from quincy souls, hired by Aizen through telepathy to break the layer between human world and afterlife. I agree there was too much messing around between the new characters (was it even necessary to introduce even more characters?) but other than that, the only reason to complain here is why the chapter wasnt longer.

Exactly, why the hell did we go through ALL of that just to get a foreshadowing of quicny being villains, that could have been done before the f`ucking 3* weak break!. Instead we get two useless characters who end up being dansels in distress to show ichigo can slash big hallows. The biggest highlight of this chapter being ichigo got promoted? No fucking duh.

Ichigo got promoted? Wasn't he always the substitute shinigami of Karakura town? O_o

I'd like less new characters and more badassery that ties this series together. Now that Ichigo should be strong as f'uck compared to most, I want something worthwhile...

Maybe I misread but didn't he say he now represents kakara town? I figured that was the big deal of the scene that he's essentially the towns shinagami rather than simple a sub.

Edit:

Yeah he got promoted to "Shinagami Representative" rather than subsitute.
