Yay, Derpy is back to being Derpy on We Love Fine!

So... if you head over to We Love Fine, you'll notice Derpy shirts are back. All named in all of her Derpy glory.

I can't begin to speculate on what this means, I have less than no new information on the situation."Derpy" becomes a more apt name for everything the more time goes on, because... gah. More information as it develops, pony fans. Stay tuned.

Awesome, definitely a good sign! Now if only we'd find out who started the whole "Derpy will be removed" nonsense.

Oh what. I just noticed this season's episode 16 is also similar to last season's episode 16, in that both are Rainbow Dash centric episodes.

We got to see inside Rainbow Dash's house. Sweet.

Episode was amusingly cute at Rainbow Dash denying to anypony she liked reading. Also, I foresee loads of memetic potential. Since wing's broken there's no Sonic Rainboom tier antics, but getting an Indiana Jones homage is very cool in itself. Still have no real idea what Ariztole needed that relic for in order to take over the world, but minor details isn't going to stop the episode from being good.

I really enjoyed this episode, despite it having critical flaws. Seeing Rainbow Dash freak out and try to hide her enjoyment of reading books from her friends was pretty funny to watch. Every scene were hilarious, every single one from start to end were well-done, the off-screen crash, Rainbow Dash's messy eating, the crazy dog patient, that hat trick, etc. I love the Daring Doo story with its wonderful landscape & felines, and that anubis guy is an awesome and over-the-top villian. I like the way the moral is handled. DID YOU GET THAT SPIKE? NOW WRITE IT DOWN.

What a shock, her friends didn't laugh at her when she confessed she likes reading. Like some guy from the other forums have said, they offer RD a book to enjoy to help past the time, and they love reading, so why laugh at Rainbow Dash for enjoying a book? They probably knew she would give in eventually. I would love to see Twilight being geeky and excited when she finds out RD is reading, and see some more interactions and awkwardness, but I think I'm asking too much. :x

Here's something interesting I've read from EqD comments:

My big complaint about this episode is how modern technology continually is seeping into the series. I liked it much better as a fantasy universe, not one with stuff I see every day. The heart monitor and x-ray simply did not need to be there to get the message across that Dash had a broken wing.

Paradoxically there was the firefly lantern, which I thought was awesome as it's a neat way to have a non-electrical light source that makes sense in universe.

More firefly lanterns, less x-rays, please.

This pony technology's confusing, as I don't know what decade it's based of. So aside the fact they have horse wagons, cannons, tanks, and those old disc players that spins & plays a giant disc (I forgot what it's called :x), they also have discos, DJ mixers, a riding vehicle machine that creates apple cider and x-rays? I think Kaijyuu's right, I prefer a more simple, scrap yet creative technology.

Things can pretty much be excused with the fact most/all the technology requires unicorn magic to power it. My only worry is if they have their own forms of the internet. Then it's TOO modern. ./hipster

I found out about The Living Tombstone via my random listening to Celestia Radio. I really like his works as well. He's up there with Eurobeat Brony, Woodentoaster, and Alex S.

It sounds so good in Italian that I couldn't sense the somewhat (just barely somewhat) cheesy lines, but welp English Ponies forever having best character voices and Italian MLP having just as good/better opening. Any Italian people here to confirm this opening as legit, or just fanmade? Google-fu isn't showing me any other Italian versions of the opening other than this one. It's still pretty good either way.

I then skimmed through some of the other episodes the Youtuber has, in which the opening it pretty much skipped for all future episodes. So there's only one episode for me to base off the idea the Italian opening is indeed animesque. Bah, trying to confirm the legit nature of the opening may be more trouble than it's really worth.

I don't know what I feel about it, too used to the normal one so the Italian one looks odd (a kinda bad odd) but at the same time its pretty good. @-@
