Game Update: v.106 - Alliance Rising - 02.01.2012

Damnit. I was hoping they wouldn't do the maintenance today. Woke up just minutes after it started.. Now I gotta wait until it ends to see what my store sold. ;_;

This is good news, have some time when I get home to finish up some class-work Maybe get some FF13-2 playtime in..actually I shouldn't mention homework since the new game will eat up all my time since I'm addicted to it: New addictions are bad aha

Damn it. I didn't have any warning that the game was going to go down and I was less than 5 minutes away from my Ice Mage's ring upgrade. >_>

Which is why I didn't get any warning. I don't check their laggy site ever. The GMS site takes for f'ucking ever to load on my computers for some reason.


I really wish they would do things as well as the other Nexon branches and actually warn players in-game about maintenances and whatnot. Not everyone checks the website constantly. I mean, at least Nexon Japan gives banner notices basically every day. Hell, more than half of their server maintenances are CHANNEL maintenances, which means they only take down half of the channels at a time, allowing everyone to still play the game. And you know what? They fix things in one shot, unlike GMS.

Seriously, why can't the North American branch learn something from the other guys? It's pretty pathetic.

They have done that, albeit not often.
But honestly, I dont see the problem with down time, at least not the normal once a week deal. I don't think any person frequenting SP should get away with not knowing what goes down in GMS as long as it is posted somewhere hours before.

Well with the opportunists we have on this game, they would love a channel maintenance only for they can open their stores and dupe.

The reposted notice was the most recent on Nexons site, and because it was posted fairly early here on SP by people who do check.

That was their plan all along! They unlocked tiny portions of the patch every time they server checked and then they sprang the ZOMG patch on us to seal the deal in less than 4 hours WITH stable servers! They trixed us :O

lolj/k There's probably some dupe already going around waiting for the servers to crash again.
