Addressing Recent Stability Issues

3x exp and drop(hopefully it actually works)? Holy cow.

There goes ~3 ring levels/6 hours though. Other than that, I did not lose much at all. So go me.

You can only use one exp multiplying buff at a time.

Server's have been stable for quite some time now. I'm not getting my hopes up this soon, though. Betting on some interesting stuff happening later tonight.

I already factored that in.

The 1.5x coupon is from the 1.5x Present box that, when opened, gave you a 1.5x coupon in the Etc. tab. The only exp buff I listed was the 2x EXP buff. Everything else is like the former, a coupon, or from skills/equips. Just wondering if the 8x cap was removed after Big Bang/Chaos/Ascension/Legends/something.

Well there was no 2x event, makes sense hurr durr. I was surprised Broa didn't lag/crash/implode/spontaneously combust.

Well, I think the way they handled this situation pretty well. However, I am pretty pissed that they did not extend the duration of the free Mastery Books we got from that event. I only needed to get 70% more to level on my Mercedes to use the book, and I had planned on doing that like 3 days ago, and what happened? All this down time, which means as soon as I logged on, it expired...

Totally didn't expect this to happen.

With this 3x event going on, has anyone attempted to test and see if the old 10x or 11x EXP cap was removed? Last I remember it existed during Pre-BB times, but I have no idea if it was removed post BB or whatever.

You'd pretty much need 3x Event + 2x CS Card + 1.5x Buff + HS.

Ring mule isn't the same line of exp. So no it doesn't.

Storm Growth and longest plus enhanced, EXP boosting event in Maple history? Wowza. Does the 8x cap still exist? I still have that free 1.5 EXP coupon from a couple months back and the free 2x EXP buff from Mapleversary 2010. Also didn't accept the free 2x Everyday coupon in the Cash Shop...so. 3x+1.5x+2x+2x+2x (from event, but I doubt it)+1.1x+1.3x (if I can be damned to charge the Pendant of the Spirit)= a tentative 51.48x for 1 hour. What.

No one knows whether the cap was lifted? Looks like we need a guinea pig!

I was on 9x exp yesterday with some friends. When I train today, I'm going to also use the Legend 1.3x buff to see what happens. That should give me 11.7x exp.

3x event + 2x cs + hs = 9x + 1.3x =11.7x o.O If I hit the cap, I'll let you know

I am not sure if this still stands, but (way back before Big Bang I think?) it was confirmed to be capped at 10x.

It was during that one time with Hunter's Luck 2x, Event 2x, Card 2x = 8x, and adding either HS or any other exp multipliers exceeded 10x and each monster killed just gave 0 exp.

Though at this time of posting you may have found out whether that is the case or not already.

If the cap isn't there, I might actually try and seriously level again. Must have been 8 months now that I've stopped.

The last time we had crazy EXP multipliers, EXP zero'd out at like 16x, but it might be lower than that since it was just straight up 2x buffs, (could only get 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, etc)

Or then again, I think it was 8x+hs+ring

Currently trying to find a map, so here goes nothing

If I end up getting 0 exp from monsters, I'll just right click the Legends Buff which I'm hoping will remove it.

Note that the cap only applies to the primary exp, on the first line per kill.
Bonuses, such as party exp, equipment exp (such a pendant of the spirit or crusader ring), skill exp (such as mercedes blessing), all show on separate lines and so don't count towards the cap.

My guildies were on 3x + 2x + HS + 1.5x coupon in MP3 and didn't get a penalty.
