Yea, servers have been fine since ~1PM EST.

Keep lagging just dced but i don't think anything is crashing.

Now we just have to wait and see whether Nexon really fixed it, or this is just the hackers/ddosers/solarflares/hardwaremalfunction taking a break.

I don't think they did. I've already crashed once. On the bright side, it looks like it's infrequent enough now that you might actually be able to get rings done.

Yeah, but i wouldn't be surprised if they returned before monday.

Also 10 AP points - that is strange, worrisome. Methinks they will hand out AP pointsin the future as rewards. Instead of miss out on this ring if you don't log in its now your character is permanently stunted if you don't log in

Also what was the point of 10 AP I mean everyone gets it; you don't realy get a boost. coudln't they just give three storm growth potions instead?

I'm fine with the AP reward, it had just better not become a habit of theirs to toss around free base stats.

I remind you that you are fighting against monsters, not against other maplers.
If I get 10 more str that's 1% more damage, which means I kill bosses 1% faster, and possibly kill certain mobs in 1 fewer hits. I call that a boost. Doesn't bother me that other people are also stronger now. All the better, in fact. In a party we will get better exp/hr.

I'm fine with the AP reward, it had just better not become a habit of theirs to toss around free base stats.

this is what worries me. it is the first time they have tossed some stats as a prize.

this probably foreshadows more ridiculous stat gifts in future

prehaps they will make a hot time - log on and get 5 stat points

or even crazier? - the Evolving Steroid Injection event - log on every day for a month and get a steroid injection that gives you 20 free AP!

or "coming to the cash shop soon - the miracle pill - get 5 free stat points for only 10k NX!!!"

of course it shows a bit of desparation on Nexon's part - thye are losing their cool. they used to never give out any such ridiculous gifts. a 3x event is just a bit extreme especially with the exp curve

most peole probably don't really care about the small boost to their damage, but it destroys the remaining constant in the game - that your base stat exactly correlates to your level.

Seems its fixed, also it might just be the strain of everyone not wanting to miss 3x.

Whoever said the servers lag spike at every top of the hour seems to be correct.
Mass lag spiked in the middle of a HT run from 4:58 - 5:02, fortunately I didn't dc or die though.

Servers are probably running scripts at the top of the hour which causes the lag spikes.

Scania is overpopulated, I haven't seen that in a while.

Everything just turned yellow.

NX got hacked, and I crashed. Oh baby.
