Touché.

Because it really isn't worth my time to prove myself wrong in this instance.

True. We all too lazy to justify all the things!
Dark Link Wrote:Cater to nubs? Are you serious? Crit is the single most obnoxious mechanic in the game right now. Majority of the top LoL players DESPISE Crit RNG, because they don't like winning / losing their lanes through cheesy RNG.

Crit and evade are the most obnoxious mechanics in ANY pvp-based game, lol. I'm glad they took both out, personally.

note:I emphasize, pvp-based. In pve games, they are really fun to have because they make the game a bit less monotonous, but in pvp, the winner should be determined by skill, not luck.

Except crit isn't removed from the game. It's only removed from the masteries. Removing crit from the game would cause any game with Tryndamere to bork.

Oh.

Well, still doesn't change how I feel about it; then again, I hate EVERYTHING that is RNG based. Because I can always manage to do something stupidly unlucky, like blowing up 3 items in 3 enchants conseq at 99% success on Latale, or failing 7/7 70%s with the last one blowing the item up on MS, or getting hit with a crit (monster has about 5% crit rate and I had a ton of crit resist on top of that) during a freeze spell that doubles damage (skill isn't even used very often) and getting 1shotted for 18K damage on Eden Eternal. Those kinds of things follow me around like a plague...

I GET CRIT BY THE DAMN WOLF CAMP NEARLY EVERY GAME. REPEATEDLY. DEAL WITH IT
Shyt was real. Decided to duo with Aynia's smurf (lvl 12) and commenced a game of normal blind.

Lux was never in team fights, so we resorted to following her. Late game she finally got the message, so she would always be in front and get killed.

Aynia thought his "Flash" was on CD every single time he picked a fight. Then he finally realized it was actually Exhaust. Graves was no longer a threat.

Their Vladimir is currently gold rank. Does badly by getting his ass picked on by all manner of CCs + Katarina. Ultimate countered by purple unicorn girl.

Sadly, with exception to Shaco and Lux, most people actually played better than the usual I get from LoL U. Shaco's mistake was picking Shaco.

Crit isnt that bad in this game. To get a noticable crit you need IE which is like 3k and then you need crit chance items to see the big numbers more often. By the time you have the items for it people have enough health to not be 1 shot by 1 crit (although no defense squishy targets will die in 3-4 crits)

Its only bad early when rng rolls around on you when you have like 500 base hp and get crit for half your bar.
Rayquaza2233 Wrote:They can see what summoner spells you have, Teleport is visible through Fog of War even if you're teleporting to something invisible, and the strategy would only be possible once every nine minutes or something.

If they're busy rushing your base, they'd still be too far away to react before you could do some serious damage.
I think it's silly that they removed the 4% crit chance and here's why.

-The old mastery tree was 2% for 3 points.
-The new mastery tree is 4% for 4 points.

In other words that extra 2% crit is supposedly what makes the game totally unpredictable? I call bs we have had crit chance this entire fucking time it isn't new with the masteries.

The most notorious offenders (gp, tryn, etc) usually run crit chance runes to dominate the lane with, not just masteries.

They could have:
A.) Scaled crit chance mastery per level so it was next to non-existant early game.
or
B.) Knock it down to 2% crit chance for the same 4 points that currently give 4%.

/end rant

It really isn't going to make a difference on my GP anyways 4% less crit isn't going to stop me from critting every 3 or 4 attacks lol.
So, question - can Orianna use her AOEs when the ball is attached to an ally? Seems like, on the right team, she could do some pretty impressive things with her Ultimate dragging enemies towards the attached champion (Rammus? Karthus?) then slowing them while someone else nukes the area.
Yes. You can cast her shield on an ally and then cast W or R right underneath the shielded ally.

Sounds awesome, assuming you shield the right person before doing so. Also hilarious trolling potential. I may play around with her in the near future, especially if she's free next week.

Yes, but then using your abilities well will be highly reliant on your ally's positioning - the ally with the ball - instead of where you want to send the ball. In other words, it sounds good, but in reality, it might not work as you think. Though you could still always detach the ball from the ally anytime you wish. xD

Theres Duo Queue And Teams for that. Remember that lol its a team game so these kind of strategys arent that bad when done right.

At least, no worse than the "everyone teleport to mid lane and rush the tower before creeps spawn" strategies.
