Yep. Totally F'uck this garbage. Was watching the server page as several channels in Khaini went down, c7 NOT being one of them. *Looks at taskbar, sees MS has crashed. 10 minutes from a ring.

I think soon it might just be easier if they just handed out level 10 rings to anyone who already has a ring. Also, they may want to consider extending all time limited items.. if they can.

This issue isn't exclusive to Nexon either. So many games I've played are terrible at keeping the userbase up to date on what is going on. So out of touch.

It's like they don't realize how important a little "Don't worry guys, we're still working at it!" every 15 minutes or so can be.

Otherwise you start daydreaming about these guys sipping coffee and counting their money while taking their 4th break in 20 minutes.

While I can't exactly say the intents of Nexon at the moment regarding compensation or a fix (nor can't Grant hehe), there will likely be an update later tonight / tomorrow morning near 7AM (PST) regarding the continued stability issues that have been going on.

The actual crashing is occurring from an internal issue with the server's scripting which has no relation to rumors of a possible hack/exploit that has been causing all of it. All of the MapleStory servers are programmed to automatically *attempt* to restart after a crash which is why it takes a couple minutes for it to come back.

There is no saying what exactly is causing the crash as simply lack of connection between a database and game server can cause havoc on everything, but for all players reading this, the servers are not continuing to be attacked / crashing from involvement with players, and instead are looping the same error, which causes it to crash randomly.

To all players: I would highly recommend not leveling your rings for the remainder of tonight until an additional update has been posted by Nexon to save yourself from the stress of crashing. The event will likely be extended / an appropriate resolution given.

Oh boy, these shameless dupers and hackers are having fun crashing the servers I bet. All the hacked equips keep popping up and hackers are trying to make money out of them by selling them extremely cheap. There goes the maple economy. Can't even finish my rings because of this hilarious server instability...

I like how they're hard on the denial concerning the duping, considering just before the last crash I checked MTS and it was floooooded with those Kravens.
