Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread
My friend begged me to play so I decided to give it a legitimate effort cause I've taken quite the break from the game.
438593485934 queue dodges later trying to start a draft mode normal we begin. I am LeBlanc and I have to vs. Ahri.

I have never laned against Ahri before so it was a pretty fun matchup. Traded kills a few times because their Shyvana kept dragonjumping me and I can't do anything when I get hit by charm ;(
Friend was jungle Nocturne, got fed, we facerolled. Fun game! I'm probably going to start playing more often again.

RAGE though my elo decayed down to 1400 I am mad. At least I'm still silver but Sad one loss and I'll be a rusty bronze.
Kayle getting another rework.
Sauce or tits... i mean gtfo!
Jungled Singed OP.

GO PLAY THE LOL GAME NOW.

JOIN CHAT ROOM SOUTHPERRY.
lol. Everyone in solo q still cries about how op skarner is.

Get killed by some of the worst pre-6 ganks> proceed to qq
I fully intended to join Fiel's little party, but then the place I lived in literally froze over. Tons of people are still without power or heat, and tons of people are lining up at the gas stations for gas, since it requires power to sell gas and it was unavailable for a long time.

lol. I so called it. He was okay in high elo, but had the pubstomper status.
Skarnerssssssss is supposedly still #1 in "God Tier", so who knows...
Definitely best jungle, not sure if he was ever best pick. That goes to sivir imo.
God Tryndamere is stupidly easy.
Well, gotta love it: Massive lag all the way.

Thank God for The Button
I has Fraps footage of team Chinchilla's first ranked match. Unlike LoL Replay, this stuff actually has our VOIP convos in it (but I forgot to check "record mic input" so you don't get to hear my sexy voice). It's also from my perspective obviously. Who wants to see it? xD

"My ISP is okay!" Wut. That's irrelevant.

Me and t3h Bok decided to play one last game before hitting the hay. Our only CCs were Koggle slow, Akali slow, GP slows, and Ryze snare. Whoo!

I got the lag issues FOUR times during laning phase. That basically put me behind for the rest of the game, so I was like "screw it" and did whatever the hell I felt like doing. Ironically, the Riot dude also failed pretty hard, for entirely different reasons. Turns out sheer damage output from our team won us through after tons of persistence and losing our inhibitors.
So, question - is it possible to use Anivia's ice wall to slow down your OWN creep wave early-game to interfere with your opponents' farming?

ME! Biggrin

(Though I have to say it'll include me going a bit overboard in excitement during the nail-biting moments of the game Frown)

It should be possible, but you dont want to take ice wall at lvl 1.

I'd figure the ability to keep the fighting near your turret, where it's difficult for opposing champions to get in and kill minions safely, would be worth sacrificing some farming ability in the fastest level to get through. Especially since your turret will be ripping minions a new one, allowing you to level fairly quickly. And if you've got teleport, you could wall the first wave at spawn, teleport down to your tower, and should have time to wall again if you're either top or bottom lane - delaying your first wave by a total of 10 seconds if not more. In turn, forces the opposing champions to stay at level 1 even longer while you and your lane partner worry about last-hitting or harassing. That early level advantage may in turn help to take over the lane, especially since you should have time to slow each advancing wave of your minions by 5 seconds following the first one. I may start testing the idea here soon.
If you keep the fighting near your own turret you're going to miss last hit kills, which is worth a lot more than whatever you said.

You might as well just block the minions with your sprite.

Anivia, to my understanding, is bad at getting last-hits anyway.

The problem with walls in the lane: people just walk around them. It's pretty futile to try blocking your own creeps without lvl 5 wall, and even then, you can only do this in certain spots. By then, the goal you're trying to achieve would not exist anymore.
OH god, the terribad vaynes or similar champs that pushes the champion away just went i launched my arachno pulse *Facepalm*
