And now /b/ is trying to DDoS the FBI and/or the MPAA.
Oh boy. This should be fun.
/pol/ is pretty interesting at times like this.

Edit: lol at exidous, it's a shame he ignored me or he'd see that I answered Locked's question in one sentence while he's sitting there trying to play lawyer. LOL
Doesn't matter. I have Exidous on Ultra Ignore.
So you're saying that MU, a site that agreed with the DMCA terms and take down notices, has been shut down for completely legitimate reasons?

/pol/ is pretty interesting at times like this. Not to completely support piracy but how about instead of doing some useless DDoS they go and start stealing actual shops or similar (like stopping the shipments) things so MAFIAA understands the difference between potential earnings and actual ones.

I don't know the reasons of "why" but the internet laws aren't just subject to US is all I'm saying*. Wasn't it closed then petitioned open'd or something?

Megaupload never complied with DMCA requests and went to extraordinary lengths to hide the identity of its operators. The site paid people (users/staff, well... it's a fine line) to provide popular (pirated) content.
Guess what. Megaupload being shut down wasn't really that weird.

Because when /b/ is mad /b/ goes to their LOIC and HOIC.
Idiots.
They don't know any other way.

Gizmodo Wrote:Anonymous has sure been quiet lately, but today's federal bust of Megaupload riled 'em up good: a retaliatory strike against DoJ.gov has left it completely dead.
DownForEveryoneOrJustMe.com is reporting the department's site as universally nuked, and an Anonymous-affiliated Twitter account is boasting success. This is almost certainly the result of a quickly-assembled DDoS attackand easily the widest in scope we've seen in some time. If you had any doubts Anonymous is still a hacker wrecking ball, doubt no more.
Update: Anonymous says they've also knocked off the RIAA's sitelooks down for us at the moment as well.
Update 2: Universal Music Group has also fallen off an e-cliff.
Update 3: Goodbye for now, MPAA.org.
Update 4: Affected sites are bouncing in and out of life, and are at the very least super slow to load. Anon agents are currently trying to coordinate their DDoS attacks in the same direction via IRC.
Expected/10.

Anonymous is trigger-happy with their DDoSing now.
Bunch of angst-filled teenagers now.

Danzu: STOP EVERYTHING, who are we DoSing right now?
Update 7: Russian news service RT claims this is the largest coordinated attack in Anonymous' historyover 5,600 DDoS zealots blasting at once. Loose cannon is loose.

They're really going all out on this one, huh?

I guess shutting down the first site they shut down after being quiet for so long gave them the adrenaline to go full on the other sites.
