No information about it at all from Nexon?

Might be a hacker uploading stuff.

Combine that with the non-existent security on their site...it would be relatively easy to break in and upload a bogus patch.

NEXON rarely tells us when a patch will be unless it's -huge- ex Ascension Legend etc. If we don't see a notice tonight then yeah this is fishy. Probably a bug fix and they're going to give us all new files or something.

Nexon is finally cutting out the middle man and just ruining their own game instead of letting the hackers do it

To me, they do it purposely and laugh at us getting mad at them / criticizing them. No other possible explanation. Even this is TOO much stupidity for them.

If they really are giving everyone all new files...have fun with the far more horribly bug riddled MapleStory of the near future.

They can't even get it right when they're just editing old files.

Whoa... Why the heck would Nexon make a patch like this?

They either are trying a new encyption, going back to Data.wz, or simply forgot to UNCheck the "Delete all files" box, or something to do with (unlike extended patches/checks) lack of coffee. Would love to see their patch process that let this through to release.

I'd really rather Nexon hear the sound of several thousand Mapler's getting pissed after auto-patching , while we of the unsanctioned forums try not to act too superior since we knew it was going to happen. That said I'm sure it will appear momentarily in any event.

Raises the question of why there's a "delete all files" option, but hey.
It's like one of those big buttons on bombs that shut it down easily, or one of those large buttons that initiate a meltdown on a nuclear reactor. Everyone has them.

The new VL weapons have been in our data since Legend patch, I'm honestly surprised we don't have access to them yet.
