Dear Maplers,

We have experienced a technical issue that has made MapleStory unavailable. We will be performing a unscheduled server maintenance on January 12, 2012 to address these issues. The maintenance will be posted when we have an estimated end time.

OK... so when they have scheduled maintenances planned way in advance and with known content, they don't do name changes and world transfers. But when their servers suddenly go boom in the wee small hours of the morning, they can do those name changes and world transfers spontaneously?

Also, the Christmas Tree trophy fix, suddenly available today but not yesterday?
What about the buttons event?

OK... so when they have scheduled maintenances planned way in advance and with known content, they don't do name changes and world transfers. But when their servers suddenly go boom in the wee small hours of the morning, they can do those name changes and world transfers spontaneously?

They supposedly have it on a script now, so they can run it whenever they feel like without prepping.
This is probably the first time they've had the script available/working during a SC and decided to throw it on for fun.

USC with world transfers without any notice, no end time.
Once again they proved they are joke not a serious company.(saying if after having few years of experience with them)

I wonder if the management ever wonders "HM THIS PROCESS ISN'T REALLY WORKING THAT WELL. MAYBE WE SHOULD INTRODUCE STAFF INTO THE ACTUAL GAME TO HELP REGULATE IT"
