Thanks ! , i got it now i put the attack as square the shift as triangle . so i do square then triangle and that its.
But suddenly i notice thing i mashed the square which i set as Attack and it does the combo thing without the need of the other key , so the easy way is Put the attack in one key and mash it. (from the joybad setting in the game).

Thanks for your tip again , without it i would not find that the attack key in the joypad setting is the one that work well.

Dark Link Wrote:Also, it's freaking hilarious how so many people are trying to KS me on their DSlayer, yet they do 300-500 damage and I do 2-3k. GG Morons.
I was training at Drakes at level 5x during double and some level 25 idiot decided that she'd fare perfectly well there hitting 200s on the rare occasion when she didn't miss.

Dark Link Wrote:LOL, tell me about it. I didn't like the style of Aran, but for some reason I'm loving the style of Demon Slayer.
I'd say the fact that Slayers get to use more than one key helps.
I got sick and tired of Aran both before Big Bang and after Chaos. Soooooooo spammy!

Zenkat Wrote:I'm finding this class to be far less enjoyable when attacking monsters with lots of HP. Is there any other style of attacking besides mashing the attack key and firing off force skills every once in awhile? 20 minutes in LHC and i'm sick of stabbing my shift key.
Solution: Stay away from the pit of boredom that is LHC.

Talk of Logitech controls reminds me that I should try using mine for Demon Slayer.
I was worried I'd need too many skills assigned, but it doesn't look like it'll be an issue.

I hit 8x today. Fun class, as expected.
Strangely though, I'd actually say I enjoy Mercedes more, and I didn't expect to play that Legend past 70.

This class is unplayable after having a Mercedes. No updraft? No good.

Also what's up with those jump controls, Nexon? It actually hurts my wrist to push up twice after jumping. Would it really have been so difficult to just make it a double jump?

then how would gliding work?

Obviously they should have made it so we can control our skills through mind control. Fixes all the problems!

I rather enjoy my Demon Slayer, but I like my Mercedes somewhat more. DS is certainly mobile, but not mobile like Mercedes is. The thing I missed while playing my Merc was the 100% stance from Mechanic. Now that I have it on my DS, I miss Updraft from my Merc.

Press left or right? Why wouldn't you be able to glide during the second jump?

Or just hold up then press jump. Really, my reactions aren't quick enough to press up twice RIGHT after jumping. :/
Also, spamming ctrl rarely does the Lash combos, I always have to spam both ctrl keys to use it, this obviously makes me train less efficiently since I can't move/jump around when Lashing.

Otherwise, the class is fine, bit Aran-ish.

I can NEVER train myself to spam the CTRL button for the basic attack. I always rebind it to "2".

OK, I must be missing something obvious to everyone else. I can't get the high jump to work at all. As in never.
I press Alt up-arrow up-arrow in rapid succession and nothing happens except normal basic jump.
I don't even know what 'Jag-jump' is supposed to do, but it never works either.
Jump-glide works maybe one in three attempts, but usually I just end up stupidly hopping across the map.
Am I missing something or is this class totally unplayable for anyone with more than 50ms ping?
Ping time to google is 25-35ms, but from what I remember when Nexon accepted pings, it was always 100ms+.

Jump forward or backward and then press ^ twice.

Made it to level 69 before the severs went down. =/

Make gliding work by holding down the jump key, at any time you're in the air (even multiple glides within one jump). Get rid of the initial sideways boost, you can get that by pressing arrows anyway.

The sideways jump is useless, too. The skill should be mappable and give you the "straight up" second jump, or tap jump in the air to use it.

This is entirely why I don't use arrow keys anymore, you certainly don't type with your hands all the way at the bottom of your keyboard do you? Even if I can't change the "2" button to "5" on numpad it still centers my wrist to the same height as you'd normally put your hands on the keyboard. Same thing with the Ctrl spam, I don't know how any of you guys really put any main spammy atks down there without tiring yourself out after a while.

woohoo for controlling my demon slayer quite well! playing it in KMS payed off!
but yeah I don't see why you all are complaining about DS controlls?
Mercedes for me was too loose , demon slayer on the other hand is stable.
I can get around super quickly with Chaos Lock , high jump and gliding.
95/100 times I can super jump as intended.

it takese a little getting used to though that's true.

I have to say though Soul Eater is amazing for questing.

I'm not sure what situation makes DS fun.

Their main attack is 4 taps of the attack key, their secondary one is hold-down-another-key-until-DF-runs-out.

In neither case can you move during the attack sequence, or you don't get to do good damage.

It's not good for low-hp mobs cause you don't hit high damage until the 3rd/4th normal attacks, it's no different from other perfect-stance classes at high-hp mobs cause you just hold down a key for a while, then tap attack a bit...

I suppose Chaos Lock does... something. But I haven't had occasion to use it, and it runs out the DF really fast.

Well with low hp mobs what I find myself doing is having 1.a good familiar out and 2.using dark thrust.
Glide behind them all, thrust them forward - they dead. good. they alive, use a single hit or thrust again based on hp.
you usualy recover DF quite quickly on low hp mobs so using a high DF skill like thrust to kill them ends up with having full DF again anyway.

let me give you a 4th job example

If he/she were to hit them one by one they wouldn't give much DF but you get extra for the K.O itself.

I was never too interested in the class to begin with, but I'm ok with it. The best part of the class is the pet demon cat.

Pretty much the first 3 jobs is this. Though in 3rd you get a lot of vac hack techniques so you essentially bring them to you. PPQ is utterly destroyed by demon slayers, you can take out all 4 levels of the middle in the "pirate marking" stage, its' ridiculous.

4th job you really get some variety, you get the PG like skill metamorphisis, which is perfect because the range is just enough so you can stand next to the monster and do constant damage, the binding skill which stacks even more damage while getting rid of their def, then you have demon impact which has insane range.I typically demon slash and finish with demon impact.

Preference and opinion, friend.

Not going to lie when I say that I hate the Aran-esque nature of Demon Slayers, and will probably only be getting one to 70 just for the boss damage for my Mercedes. I agree that the gliding and super jumping need a better combo because it's simply a pain in the ass and I would almost rather prefer to climb up ropes.

No doubt that both Mercedes and Demon Slayer both flow very nicely when played correctly, but mashing the attack key just isn't going to cut it for me.

This sums it up quite nicely. Additionaly I think it is just too easy with the DS. I don't even have to do anything to destroy them map, no planning, no setting up. It is just a matter of managing the force.
