Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

I agree with this. Riot really needs to make a mode out of it that uses the matchmaking system because some people I get joined up with are just so damn stupid that it baffles me they can even find how to join an ARAM game. It doesn't have to be balanced to be fun. Twisted Treeline may be underplayed but it is still played for a reason. Mostly variety but it has its own style that some may find enjoyable from time to time.
How do you guys do ARAM anyway? I mean how do both teams agree to it?

Grabbed Morgana on a Smurf, wtp lol.

Morgana is so good.
Yeah, join a custom game with "ARAM" in the title.

WHAT'S YOUR IGN!?!?

I'd have to say, that bonus clip feat is actually very difficult to pull off. I've almost done it once as old Soraka, and I've seen old Nidalee do it once (5k gold finish, enemy team surrendered at 25).

What mine? Phailure

Only lvl 23 with like 4 champs lol.

Worthyness Wrote:Morgana OP

Yeah I was pretty amazed by that Morg clip.
Wow, I can't believe you managed to get that ign.

I guess no one thought of it? Only started like 2 months ago.

Some people were asking if I was Phreak lol.
Worthyness Wrote:Morgana OP

As Kaj said, its very hard to pull that shyt off. But that player pretty much outplayed his opponent and played relatively safe.

Seeing the video, i loved how Sona and team baited the enemy with those wards really good, but then that last clip of a morgana never going B and dear god...

I think I might give ward baiting a try next time when the opportunity presents itself. I laughed so hard when I saw that clip. Well played.
Ok I have 2 theories:
1) Riot did a secret server split and that's why I'm being queued with lots of brazilians and latinos lately, and I am afraid that the stereotype is right, they... well maybe WE, are not as good, but I believe big part of that is brazilian's lack of communication.
2) I've dropped in ELO and there are, in fact, more latinos in lower ELO.

She played it masterfully and i have no doubt it was thinked on the fly, since the enemy had someone with oracles killing wards. The fact that it was sonna with her Ult that initiated that was the best part, 2 secs of being useless while your enemy fully discharge on you (And they were killed rather fast, i dont think anybody reacted to it until too late).

There's a double lesson in that one. The second lesson is "never group up if you suspect a trap."
I was just watching OddOne's stream and he was clearing with oracle's and refused to move past certain areas without vision from his own wards or the appearance of everyone on the enemy team elsewhere. He treated his oracle's with reverence. Funny what map awareness can do for you.
Barely anyone my level uses wards. Or oracles.

Played a game with some people from club today. nedz to get better at positioning self. ;-;

Enemy jungling Cho was carrying his team hard. They ended up surrendering because 4/5 of them had summoner Heal and were getting weaker come mid-game.
raizoo Wrote:Barely anyone my level uses wards. Or oracles.

You'll soon realize how effing valuable they are to your team's success. For instance, if I was jungling, I never leave my jungle unwarded because there's always a good chance the enemy jungler - or anyone on the enemy team, for that matter - might come pay a visit to my jungle. Which means setting up for free kills/setting enemy jungler behind by a lot.
Oh, I know how valuable they are. I've won a few games by laying down wards and people on our team realized oh hey this is actually a great idea. The only times I've seen people by oracles is when there's a Twitch or something.

I'm just not liking how I'll be warding 90% of the time and wish everyone would help out a little.

Never think that Oracles is only used to counter stealth champions. Its also great for use in "ward sweeping", denying the enemy of their map awareness.
I know that these items are great. Just most of the people around my level don't when I solo queue. At least the people from club were playing for fun and I got to see what an enemy jungler is like. :V

"How come I'm the only person putting up wards?"
"Aren't wards only for support?"

I get focused a lot when I play Zilean, so I'm a bit iffy on grabbing Oracles unless I have some key spots already warded. It's just a drain when I'm having trouble affording my key items because I'm grabbing all the wards/oracles.
