:l Honestly restaurants in europe makes good european food look bad, a lot of them that is.
Danish recipes are delicious for example and i love cooking, but at restaurants it tastes far from as good as homecooked.

Saying that you need to visit nice restaurants to eat really good food in europe is really just far from true. Tongue

And you can just make food yourself, if you're worried about unhealthy food.

Just for reference, the expression put to shame means that it far exceeds the quality, not that it's horribly worse. For example, you could say that your girlfriend's beauty puts supermodels to shame - that means super models should be ashamed, as they're outdone by someone who isn't even a regular model.

But yes, homecooked food > restaurants usually. If you get the chance, go to Texas or something so you can try southern-comfort type food Rick. Worth ALL the cholesterol.

Just eat at Chipotle. Healthy, tastes awesome, and very filling.

Well, I remember France didn't have too much good food, but most places near the mediterranean sea have the best food. And Spain is in the mix. Quite a lot of variety, though, so hard to compare to a particular region.

Wanted breakfast this morning but not much around except that same Burger King, so I got some pancakes. Came with 2 packs of syrup and 2 packs of butter. Only used 1 syrup and no butter. COME AT ME, BRO.

The fact you ate at Burger King negates that lack of butter.

Any fast-food meal shouldn't be called a meal

it's not really fast food, i meant that they give you these humongous pancakes, and on the side you get like 5 eggs, 10 sausages, loads of bacon and dear god so much crap, it should be called breakflundinner

Rick Wrote:So I just went to Burger King through lack of other options. Asked for a large, promptly changed my mind when I saw the buckets she was going to put my drink/fries in, even though I get diet coke. Almost got me there, America.

Why do you think you could order a large in the US and get away with it?

Also, as for IHOP... I completely agree. I never finish my food half of the time because they give you SO MUCH. No wonder my mom called me fat. Sad

I think I may have met my match: The Cheesecake Factory.

 Spoiler

That, my friends, is Reese's peanut butter and chocolate cake cheesecake. It's one of the ridiculously few pieces of food I couldn't finish all in one go.

And incidentally one of only two cheesecakes I can abide. The other being Turtle.

Ah yes, southern food. The sweet tea has enough sugar to kill a goat.
