Since rollback is pretty much out of the question, what form of consequences that DON'T affect the legits can Nexon really offer?

Deleting items/banning users with items that go above a certain threshold is a bad, bad idea. While you will get the hackers, you'll also get a bunch of legits. (It's important to note that Nexon will probably determine the "cap" to be way too low and for this reason a lot of legit players could be in trouble too.)

The only reason it is a bad idea is because you are under the assumption they WILL put the threshold too low.
You'd best assume that their determinations are unpredictable. You can't rap nexon's mind around your finger. Any assumptions you make are simply speculation.

I'd call it more of an "educated guess" based on Nexon's past behavior.

You all don't understand that most of this stuff starts in Khaini. That's where 90% of the stuff begins. We already know Nexon isn't very good at sweeping accounts and ridding them of non-legit items.

How about....they hellban/perma ban the actual people who exploited/hacked/hack-leeched.

They have been placed in the MTS already so could be any wheres by now and we can't assume Nexon can find those aha.

Most of them had some sort of Potential or Enhancement on them, Renderning them un-MTSable, I cant say for the other ones that only have extra slots though, So maybe. But im hoping most of the ones with a large number of slots get removed.

Supposedly, the guy who got banned and posts deleted last night stated those items have been around for 6ish months. It was just kept very very private. Can't rollback 6 months. However I DO agree with shutting down the MTS completely. It's seriously one of THE leading factors in this game's downfall.

then they should at least make nx items buyable in fm like how it's suppose to be, it's dumb if you have to buy cubes from random ppl and then>person scams

I should say I would never be able to get all my stuff out of MTS. I also would be pretty upset if they didnt warn us to take our stuff out. My MTS is full of stuff from early ms & equips.

Shutting it down doesn't necessarily mean just deleting it from the game. They could just make it so that no one can actually post items on there for sale anymore. Any currently up will be put into the storage inside of the MTS, and it could be kept up for a month or two to make sure everyone gets their crap taken out.

you better dont ask for examples cause nexon doesnt know pomegranate who they ban and knowing them 90% of players who they'd ban would be legit innocent players (i was one of their false ban victims long ago and saw many hackers untouched along with all their duped / hacked things)
