Do you prefer being called...

I prefer to be called by my name. A few people I know call me Kate and it use to annoy me. Now I just kinda ignore it by not answering right away when they call me Kate.

If I ran into you in game, I'd probably call you Kate.. too lazy to type the Miss

Chose other. There are too many Mike/Michaels. So Meeks is alot easier. Except on the phone where I'm constantly confused for "Mix'

As long as I know someone is referring to me, I doesn't matter to me too much.

I feel exactly the same. I play on quite a few characters so i get called all sorts.

It depends on the situation. Obviously if my name is posted clearly, I prefer to be called by my name. If not, (and especially in Maplestory or any other game) I don't mind being called by my username/IGN as long as I don't get a "Hey you" or "Hey Bishop."

Ive gone by the name Izzy almost all my life, although its not even close to my birth name. the only people that dont call my izzy are my mom and various federal agencies.

I prefer to be called by my real name. Its why I include it in my user name with some random numbers.

Seeing as how my username IS my real name...I dunno. When I played MS, I didn't really care whether I was called Hybe or Ben.

I kind of prefer people to call me Ash. It's a shortened version of my real name (Aisling), but outside of Ireland, the name does not travel well and is, more often than not, mispronounced (Supposed to be pronounced Ash-ling). Heck even irl, people shorten my name to Ash and Ashie anyways =\

I don't really get what the big deal is about sharing your first name. No one is EVER going to be able to track you down or stalk you based on that. I mena think of how many people share the same first name.

I prefer being called by username, whether it is shortened form (spark for Sparkdreamer for example), or original form. I find it awkward when I'm called by real name online, but, if asked, I'll tell my real name.

I prefer people calling me by my name. But I when I meet someone on maple; I tell them my nickname so yeah. It's the same as my real name but 3 letters short. o_<

Depends how close people are
If i know them and they know me, it's by name
If I dont know them but they may know me it's wierd but ok (however they caught my name rofl)

My username + real name is the same.

But, if I'm playing a game, when I get to know someone, I'd like them to call my Myles, instead of the IGNs I come up with. (Fleshlight, BigCawk, iCameBricks, etc etc)

My highest preference is mad.
But I'm with FoolsLove too, as long as I know they're talking to me, I'm okay with it. Anth, Anthony (Not my name, btw), Shat, Shatner, Will, Rum; all acceptable. Only 2 or 3 people know my real name, and that was by fluke. >.<

Um...w/e. I'm occasionally creeped out when someone calls me Jared and I don't recall telling them in the past, but meh. NoJob, Shadow, Jay, JayJay, etc....everybody has some name they call me by. :X
