Also is it any surprise that a good chunk of basil went into "Kiss Ass" mode when DotC started announcing that he was gonna make these items "Affordable" in the MTS?

Golden Hammers were released into FM by a guy named Cam. He exploited them out of a special shop in a GM Map. Certain people then got a hold of them, and duped them. They've been out for quite some time, just extremely rare.

That's the only good thing to come out of this, golden hammers are rare. But then again, if they can dupe, then these items are gonna be all over like the 596 ST, 301 Craven/Nisrocks.

Maple's done at this point. The game has literally turned into a PServer unless Nexon can stop this.

They're confident enough in smegaing the hacked items the week nexon returns from their break without fear of repercussions.

I'm sure this game is already a PServer to them.

What if it ends up like enhance hacked gear? 'NO 255ATK [item]? NOOB' I can totally see our s'hit community accepting these like they did 608 STs/301 cravens, or the 27/32/35atk FS. :/

From what I'm reading at Basil, some are already liking to the idea.

Seeing how they fix all this mess is going to be really entertaining.

Definitely, I've got the popcorn already made. Now I just need to leave it out for about four months while nexon plays Angry Birds instead of fixing it.

Basil thread says it's a hack involving the golden hammer(50% chance of +1 slot) or something, so they can 'endlessly' scroll. <_<

I was about to say "well this will literally never get fixed", then I remembered all those golden hammers are duped anyway. Now I'm just expecting nexon to release the hammer with the same functionality as the hackers are getting out of it, for 15k NX each, and a pack of 16 for 150k NX each.

What i'm hoping for:

Nexon realizes that these items are in game and actually also combats and finds all the previously enhanced to death gear

What will probably happen:

Nexon bans and removes some of the smega'd gears from the obvious people who have them, but miss the one item and it gets duped to hell over and over until it's so widespread that everyone is selling it and smegaing every day like it ain't no thang.

If Nexon doesn't remove all of these or rollback it's practically game over for MS. They're going to get duped to hell and become the new 27 ATT VSS or 30 something star Cravens x.x
