Help me choose a cellphone pl0x
#1
I just opened up a Scottrade account today, but i can't access it while i'm at work due to it being blocked by our internet filter. Proxys don't work to well with it either. I decided to get a cellphone so I can access the internet and review my account while still at work.

A guy here at work is trying to sell me his Palm Treo 700w for $200. It's almost brand new, but has some scratches on it. Another guy here at work is trying to sell me his Sidekick for $100. And my friend is telling me to go out and buy a BlackBerry Curve.

Any suggestions? Any better phones for the internet? The main thing i'm going to be using it for is texting and accessing my Scottrade account. I gave up my old phone a longgggggg time ago so I have no clue what phone to get.

Help anyone? Frown

I can't help much since I'm not clued up on phones, but, a touch-screen phone is nice for the internet, but pomegranate for texting.

Just my 2 pence. (cents r 4 suckas)

Do NOT get some overrated iPhone.
Go for the Sidekick; the qwerty keyboards that they've got are as good as it gets when it comes to texting (Yes, even better than the godly iPhone's shining, shimmering splendor of a touch-screen).

I would say sidekick or the blackberry, depends on how well you can use the sidekick keyboard too.
