Convince THIS GUY to play MAPLE STORY!

Friends don't recommend friends to play MapleStory. This is coming from a guy who plays several hours a day.

This. Every single person I know who asked "Hey should I play/come back to MapleStory?" has been answered with a flat out no.

From what I've been told... if you haven't been keeping up to date in this game you might as well not play. There's too much to catch up on to be "average" like potential gear and those mini crafting jobs. Not only that, once you are caught up Nexon will release something new (eg. new equipment) that makes all your hard work (time and money as well) worthless.

I never said it wasn't my fault? I never once said that maple is a bad game nor should anyone feel bad for playing it. But I AM saying that no one should try bothering to play RIGHT NOW with the way things are, and how fucking horribly Nexon runs this thing.

Last time i played was when resistance came out. After getting to 76 i realised same old maple where all you do is grind (in my opinion anyway)
For some reason about a month ago i decided to redownload. Evan now 71, and im back to that old chestnut of a revelation i was at before.

Not to mention the fact that i decked her out in some NX and a pet because i thought it would keep my interests (although you pretty much need a pet these days)

Oh and i wouldn't be suprised if you logged in to find anything at all you had left, weither it be huge masses of items & mesos, or nothing but 20k on a mule to be gone from hackers.

You say such things very easily despite doing what you do. I'd say more but I'd get penalized so I will just say you must feel really confortable the way the game is right now.
