People being hacked since the last Server Check.

It's annoying but the best thing to do is to just do a password request everytime you log off, then log in to your email and use the code.

Then explain why the game labels that guy with a random nickname as a "Gamemaster" and doesn't allow other people from adding him to their buddy lists.

Someone actually hacked a game master's account, and I wouldn't be surprised if Nexon was stupid enough to put a sort of "admin control panel" in their website, which could only be used by GM accounts obviously and could allow to give the GM status to other accounts.

Or, more likely, he just created a random character on the actual gamemaster account. :f6:

How many of you hacked people would report a hacker you met in your way? Because I know I would every time I had a chance. Might that have something to do with this?

I've stopped changing my password, I figure if someone wants to hack me now that a password isn't going to stand in their way.

Yeah after Eos' post right there I spent my remaining NX on inventory slots. Better use than it being fucking stolen from me.

Then it is very likely there were other undisclosed ones. Unless they have a way to get into any account without even having the password or through other means we don't know of.

Until now, I've been constantly locking my account with the available methods (now there's the Hotspot Shield one) and changing my password at least once a month, and I wasn't (luckily) affected. So yeah. Maybe there IS a way to prevent it, afterall. Or it's just been luck.

My current password is 63 characters, with 2 security questions that are each 50 characters, linked to a gmail account with a 50 character password and a 50 character security question. I almost want them to hack me now, just to prove once and for all that the compromise in security isn't on our side. I'm sure they will say I have a keylogger or shared my account data if it does happen anyway, but I don't really care about my stuff on nexon games anymore anyway, so I can let them have their placebo effect and wash my hands of the whole thing.

What's the hotspot shield method?
I've been changing my password once a week ever since my world xfer mule got hacked.

FInally patched it and logged in to confirm they had physically been logged in as me. THey took off my perma invis cap just so I'd know they had been there, cleaned out my 300m or so pocket change and miscellaneous scrolls, and somehow either took or destroyed my perma locked type 7 staff. No idea how they managed that though, since it was both locked and out of slots.
