How was your day?

Went to my friend's house, and basically played games all day on my laptop. My friend played WoW on his PC, but before all of that, I was busy playing around with his cats and looking at his anime collection. After a while, we went to order Chinese, and also to pick up his girlfriend from work. All three of us had Chinese food, and then we dropped her off at work again. We both head back to his apartment, and played video games, for the most part. I was there from uhhhh 2 PM - 9:30 PM. Fun afternoon, overall.

We even had discussions about his current job at where he works, and how he'll try to get me a job too once I graduate. I'm pretty excited.

Went up to East Texas to see the relatives, then went to Dallas to see my sister. All in all a fun trip.

I got called into work yesterday, but today I have to work too. I don't even care what's going to happen the rest of the day, VP Ted can suck my plantain. Today Manu got his gift and opened it on skype, I'm so glad it finally got there and even happier the he loved it. Nothing can bring me down today.

Went and got all the rest of my Christmas shopping done today with mi madre. Got myself a bunch of new clothes that she can wrap for me to have to open on Christmas. So so so excited. We also got Grandpa a GPS... we're thinking he'll be amazed that he's getting new technology this year while I'm not.

One final to go. Pathogenic Bacteriology, tomorrow morning. And then this semester from hell is over.

So many emotions aside from it all. Lots of complicated relationships right now that I want to straighten out, but will have to wait till next semester to do so. Relieved to hear from good friends regarding these issues/tensions/whateveritis that things are definitely not what I worried they might be, and that things will most likely be great next semester on that end.

I just want to get to Christmas, give my family their gifts, and take a long awaited break away from it all. Going to do a lot of personal work over the next few weeks that I'm desperate to start, but again, one more exam to hurdle before doing so.

2012 is going to be amazing beyond comprehension.

Jam-packed break thus far, which is less relaxing than I had wanted but hey, so it goes. Started right after my final last Friday with cooking/baking/catching up with high school friends, followed by Christmas weekend with the family and a family friend party hosted by my family this Monday. Relaxed Tuesday and today with a fun downtown Chicago trip yesterday with a food journalist/model friend of mine. Today I also had a great conversation with my parents about post grad plans that has helped focus my efforts for the next few years, and JUST got a very exciting email that made my night as it elevates upcoming events this spring to an amazing level.

I try hard to live in the present and enjoy it, but right now? FUTURE COME FAST PLEASE.

Paid my dad back for my phone, should have known that tonight would end up being a party night for him.

This week has been one big, giant mess but that all changes tomorrow. YES!

Finished catching up on the current season of Law & Order SVU, traveled back to Madison, did a lot of damage at Trader Joe's that will hopefully keep me stocked for the month (if I play my cards right and milk the longevity of everything in my fridge/freezer), and scoured the entire apartment to cleanliness perfection. Perhaps one of my most productive days in 2011.

FINALLY this year is almost over. One more day of fun before it's all reborn.

This is always the most depressing time of year for me, I don't know why, and it doesn't help my Aunt just had laprascopic surgery to remove ovarian cancer today. I really wish I was back at school so I didn't have to confront the depression dealing with my family brings on everyday.

Wanted to die at work today, pineapple this cold or whatever it is.

I can't sleep. I totally had the balls to go bowling with a cosplay luffy straw hat. I actually did very goddam well LOL.

Have a party I'm hosting tomorrow going to hopefully have 5-6 people, 3 are guaranteed though. I spent most of the night cleaning off the air hockey table and moving the wii downstairs to the projector downstairs. Gonna buy a load of alcohol tomorrow.

Had an amazing two days. Wedding on Thurs night and then exploring NYC with a friend the next morning. Couldn't ask for more. Now, to get back into a normal-ish sleeping pattern for a few nights... oh wait, Happy New Year's Eve~

Today is the day we thought would never come. I've looked back on the past year, and wonder how the next will turn out. Work today was so pointless, and now I wish to just sleep for a few days so I don't have to deal with this cold.
