Familiar Hack

At this point I kinda don't care anymore. These people got me from 130-145, and now I'm just gonna wait till they fix it so I can ToT properly.

Let me give you an analogy.
Your city is having a cross-town "mini-marathon". Just 10 miles, participation open. The prize, if you can call it that, is a gold-painted plastic trophy and your name in the sports page of the local paper.
You sign up 'cause you enjoy jogging and it seems like a fun thing to do with friends.

But halfway across town you run out of breath, and step off the course to rest a bit.
A cab passes by, and offers you a ride.
You accept the offer, ride a couple miles, get off, and rejoin the runners at the course.

You reach the finish line and you get a pretty little certificate from the mayor, saying you ran the town marathon in 2011.

Do you think you legitimately deserve this certificate?

I honestly haven't.
I was under the assumption that all running marathons were 26.2 miles.
Eating marathons, no, but running marathons, yes.

I will not be surprised if Nexon removes LHC as a party bonus area due to this very hack. The exp bonuses plus this hack just shouldn't be. I will gladly take a hit in exp gain to get rid of this thing Not too mention it sounds so like a Nexon type of thing to do

ATleast to me this seems a reasonable case of action, GMS took the risk of keeping LHC bonsues when KMS didn't and look how well GMS is managing it with it aha.

LHC's party bonus is not to blame for the hack. It's just to blame for the leechers.
If it were taken away, all LHC maps will still be taken over by hackers, they just won't need leechers.

They're called 10 mile runs. Then there's Half-Marathon, then there's the Marathon.

You can only do so much when the person you're trying to ks is able to one hit kill everything in the map every few seconds. Regardless of how well you do, they are going to get more EXP and it will still be fast for them despite your efforts.

And then those buddies ask for leech instead. Reliable buddies are thin on the ground. Wasn't aware it wasn't a completely map-wipe though, the way it was talked about I thought it was (haven't been to LHC since I hit 199 on Saturday). o_O

I think it depends on amount of mobs and how close together they are, I've seen a few guys at LHC clear an entire glitched map every time it respawns (2-4 seconds? not long, regardless) but the people I tracked at ToT had to work marginally harder, as in they actually had to cycle the map somewhat in order to 'clear' everything.

You can go ahead and ks if you want, but I don't feel like it makes any difference. When people used to ks it was because they were trying to resolve something, and ksing familiar hackers is not going to resolve anything. It just seems like a frustrating waste of time and effort. (summary of MS gameplay as of late right there)

This hack has proven to be quite annoying. Thank god I'm only 52% away from 200 on my Bucc, which I can get in tomorrows 4x event, because I can see this hack lasting another few days, or atleast till demon slayer.

Somehow managed to train for 4 hours today...2 of which was during the event

We had a really good party today too...familiar hacker came into the map about an hour before we started and tried botting...I only noticed he managed to 1 shot a few of the monsters...most of which we managed to kill. After he leveled, I wasn't sure if it was b/c someone in the party managed to d/c hack him or whether he d/c'd himself, but the mule he was on using the hack left after we told him to cc4 (didn't speak an ounce of english). Don't ask how I was just glad it happened lol.

After that, we only had about 6 people come in the map throughout the 4 hours...3 of which were just LF>legit party, the other 3 were trying to join our party and entice us with familiar hack...we obviously didn't add them.

It was just really funny...reminded me of the days of KPQ when sins would try to join a pq and say they would throw ilbis LOL...

Anywho, managed to get to 181 today...hoping the same thing happens tomorrow and I can hopefully manage 184-185
