Lol I don't know why this kind of stuff made me remember V for Vendetta, people standing around watching pomegranates happen and can't do sh!t about it, no one stands up for themselves, the worst is Nexon won't do crap about it. Maybe all the legits should just boycott Maple until the problems are fixed instead of going onto maple everyday let Nexon know that the players are fine with their laziness. Why can't Nexon have service system like Guild Wars?! O-o

This is a good idea, but its been brought up every time there has been a major exploit out. Thing is no one is willing to quit playing their ing game for a few days or weeks to let them realize that they suck at what they are doing. Instead we let Nexon repeat itself over and over again with its crappy customer service and people continue to buy NX under any circumstances. In the end Nexon & hackers always win, and the legit player base always loses.

The only thing legits are good for is accidental bannings.

I forgot to put that in my post lol...I was going to refer to basil with the 12year old kids running around thing to them..but oh well, I dunno when they are even going to do anything..Heck they probably think the game is going fine at the moment.

I'd love to see the source for that. Not that I trust Nexon all that much, but according to them their average player was somewhere around 16-20 years old. They stated a specific age, but I fail to remember what it was.

Seems to me like its a base of 12 year olds with groups of older disheatened players/veterans wasting their money and time trying to fight corporate negligence and hacker resilience/ingenuity while trying to just enjoy this dam game.

This, I remember doing this when I first started playing maple. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought it had some sort of age requirement back then. (Probably wrong)
but now Im in that average player base that they said they have. The only source I have for young kids is basil, but hey maybe it has gotten better with the community and I'm missing something..

Given that my account is almost 21 years old, and I'm still in high school, that's fairly irrelevant.

The age requirement to make an account is or was 13 giving that the average is probably a useless way to find out ages of the player base. If that requirement wasn't in place the average might mean something. Though I do agree the problem causes are probably in ages of 12-15.

My guild actually took a harder line than I expected: kick if you leech from a hacker. I have a pretty mild view on leeching (free exp rocks), so I'd probably do a warning first personally.

But it still stands that the community will ostracize hackers and people who consorted with them once the exploit is patched.

At this point I kinda don't care anymore. These people got me from 130-145, and now I'm just gonna wait till they fix it so I can ToT properly.

And why do people insist on being called pro when they obviously leeched from 20-120? I don't even see people talk about it lol. I'm just happy I finally have a 14x character I enjoy.
