I think I actually enjoyed being banned, coming back to this. 30 days without having to worry about changing my passwords, staying logged in, having my items locked. This is so fucked up.

It's when you go as far as enjoying being banned so that your items will be safe that you know a game is going pieces.

It's become my turn to participate in the most popular Southperry thread of 2011! (What an honor to Nexon eh?) To think I almost missed it.

As of yesterday's early morning my character in scania, Baykko, was stripped of everything it had. I lost about 20B mesos worth in items (yah yah, laugh at me for being poor you nx Wh0res). I am certain I didn't take a Keylogger, even though my PW and PIC hadn't been updated in some months. Last thing I did yesterday was wander around the Gate to the future looking for an empty map to finish my quests. I do not intent to cause panic by saying this, but it feels to me like the hacker saw my character pass by and used their magic to crack my info out, JUST BY PASSING BY!. Anyway, I am here to suggest you people stay away from hackers as much as you can. The causes to my hacking might be another but it never hurts to be cautious.

If you hadn't updated your password in some months, that's most likely the reason you were hacked. There was a database leak in April and probably some other undisclosed ones later.

Not that long, It was a bit more than 2 months since I had updated it.

I was here during the MTS info leak and my info wasn't in the lists, I never used MTS anyway.

Type %temp% in your start menu's search bar, open the temporary folder if that's what shows. Look for a folder within this that has your ign in it. Apparently this means you got hacked/are going to be hacked. My friend who got hacked recently had his ign as a folder in there. Whereas myself and another friend do not have our ign there nor have been hacked.

Anyone know a new reliable way to lock your account? All this hack talk is scaring me . 4 people on my buddy list have been hacked in the last week. They think it's because they bought from a hacker mushie, but I'm pretty sure that's not how they got hacked. I wish they didn't fix the symbol locking system T.T.

you can't lock your account anymore, only way is to get banned or de-activate ur acc for awhile if thats possible

That was long ago. I remember the Khaini GMs without KHA in the IGN, but that was like 4 years ago. After that they have always been named XXXKha and so on.
