OGM I totally did not notice that until now! Also, I just remembered that Carbon is relatively conductive. It has higher resistance than metals but it can conduct a current easily.

carbon is a pretty shitty conductor unless it's in graphite form because graphite forms sheets of hexagonal rings, which can form a pi-electron cloud and that is really good for conduction. Diamond is a really bad conductor of electricity though.
