Familiar Hack
#81
¬Rob Wrote:Deleted every idiot on my BL who was leeching off them today. One asked 'what do morals have to do with leeching off hackers?'. Major ...-moment there.

Also, I love how familiars aren't even allowed in PvP, where I train.

And how many people was that? If so many people actually resort to this without caring, I hope I don't have to delete people off my BL who I know already go to glitched mobs (which wasn't many to begin with but...). :|

Probably since the addition of the chains-like skills killed the vac detection that was in place.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Like 7 or so, most others are either already 200, or not bothering with LHC now.
@Durex; Slime familiars and others have a 'pull' effect.

Just ran into half of my guild using this hack, really really really disappointed right now.
I hope Nexon perma bans anyone and everyone who used it or leeched off it. This is absolutely disgusting.

Actually using it, or just passively leeching off it?

One of them is actively using it on their mule. Four others [people] are just leeching.

The people leeching off it are some people I thought would never resort to this.
I'm down to basically zero people that don't abuse hacks on my buddy list now.

Ouch. Sad I haven't even been on because of work/skyward sword/friends, but that sounds horrifying.

Was anyone banned from the hoblin pq exploit?

If anything, I think nexon will just remove this hack from the public and move on as if nothing happened.

Hence why I said hope.
I have never actually thought anyone will get banned, but Eos had a good definition of hope somewhere. I think. Let me go find it.

That's just disgusting & distressing.

Margaret Weiss gets credit for that one, actually. Possibly Terry Phillips if she stole it from him.

Anyone remember that comic strip of some guy playing a f2p for the first time, having a good time, only to see it overrun by hackers?

It is true indeed. Esp 180+ when each level is actually a large chunk of what you have left. More satisfaction out of it.

The faster they get to Level 200, the quicker they can say "I quit cuz dis game sucks", and actually quit.

Thus the idiot population recedes, and we get our intelligent Maple back.

I've never understood the point of leech. Or hacking. It's a game, not a chore. If you don't enjoy playing it, by its rules, go do something else. Nobody's forcing you to stay.

"Hey Bob, come play basketball with us?"
"Sure! Except I'll send Joe to play in my name."
Huh?

"Hey Bob, come play basketball with us?"
"Sure! But I'm going to be using this remote-controlled ball."
What?

I second this notion. Wonder if it's possible...
