I really liked this chapter, although I find it hard to believe that Naruto could convince a tailed beast with his chat so easily. My bet is that the sage ape is trying to use Naruto to break free and when he is about to crush Naruto, Kurama (yay!) will finallly back Naruto up and help him.

That would actually make a lot of sense, and explain why they feel so cynical towards humans, as the majority of humans are malicious.

The way I see it, Sakura was a peach who only began to think of Naruto as someone special after he became powerful as pineapple. Not saying she has actual feelings for him, but clearly Hinata does and always has. So yea, I could see it happening.

The main character always picks the one that he's experienced more with in these scenarios. As much as i want hinataxnaruto, sakura is unfortunately going to be his bride.

Meh. Only if he stays young and ignorant, not realizing what really lies ahead if he picks Sakura over Hinata, or how each of them really feel. I really can't see Naruto+Sakura going down. Way too corny and out of place.

Naruto won't be happy knowing that he's Sakura's second pick because she can't get Sasuke. Don't any of you guys remember the chapter where Sakura confessed to Naruto? He knows it's a terrible reason for her to confess and like him. I don't know how much he still likes her, but I'm hoping he's grown a bit and knows better than why he was originally attracted to Sakura.

I still am frustrated that Naruto never responded to Hinata's confession from before she got attacked by Pain, though. Naruto gave a brief acknowledgement of her saving him when he saw her at the battlefield, but he never responds to the actual confession. Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffff--

...Except he already straight up told Sakura no... (Well, that the idea that she could love him was a joke, which is pretty clear cut.)

Still pretty convinced that Naruto will end up with hinata. Especially since Kishi loves foreshadowing in chapter title pages, and we had one with Hinata in front of a church.

I want to see 75% of the main characters dead or mortally injured, it's just not realistic none of naruto's friends have gone down yet.
