Wait, what? I thought Fist Enrage was a single target skill.

I'm confused on what skill you're talking about. I don't see a skill in Fiel's skill tables for Striker that does 2040% damage per hit to 9 targets.

The "Hi, I'm shooting lasers at your face and you can't stop me" father-son Kamehameha skill?
That one?
You best believe it's 9 mobs.
Or am I getting it mixed up with the new name for Barrage...
EDIT:
DERP.
I WAS.
DAMN.
Um, well Ray says it's called Energy Blast.
Oh, Vipers don't get it. Buccs get it. Only TB's get it at 3rd job. The 4th job version for regular buccs is pretty damn good, it's 10 targets and a passive extra 100 energy charged per attack.

Yeah, that skill is Energy Blast. And you got the jobs mixed up. Third job is "Buccaneer," fourth job is "Viper."

Also, it's 500% per hit, 4 times, to 9 targets. That's 2000% per target at a time. It's only 2040% (510% per hit) if you have Combat Orders.

...you sure?
Could have sworn it was 4*510%, same as 4 Sharks.
I'd check if no MB. But, alas, MB.
Also, I'm just going to stop trying to figure out the names of KMS jobs, they're confusing the hell out of me.
EDIT: forgot about skill tables. Huh. That'll teach me to assume things.
And pineapple yes, SCHOOL BUS!

Viper = "Buccaneer"
kMS:
Pirate > infighter > buccaneer > Viper.

BTW guys, battleship works on ropes as a mount, and it looks hilarious.

So , anyone could try to formulate a build for viper post revamp ? someone said 1 to all relevant skills , max dice and revenge and then vipersition , since all skills hit max targets already and way more than before revamp....... Arrg said before 15 % atk on viperisation now wasn't worthwile...... but I think the 20 % extra mastery isn't o.o

What else are you going to max? I mean honestly you either:

1. MAx dragon strike as per the usual, then the really low SP requirement skills. Then Viperisation.

2. 1 DS, max lazer, then the low sp skills and viper.

3. max viper, then low sp skills then your chosen mob attack.

And I'm pretty sure mastery increases your damage output significantly more than spamming your dragons or your laser or your spirit fists.

Nope nope nope.
Now it's waaaaaay better to max energy blast before DS. Right now I'm 157 and I have max guard crush, max counter, max double dice, max blast, max viperisation, 15 fist, 1 DS/SI/Nautilus/Time Leap. I did an SP reset to take all of my points out of DS to put into blast and it was the best decision I've ever made.
Before I reset, DS30 was doing 300k-500k per hit to 6, and after I reset blast is doing 600k-1m to up to 10 mobs.
I don't care how much faster DS is, 1400% to 6 < 2200% to possibly 10.

so , 1 to all important skills as a must I guess

then : max viperisation , low sp skills and then blast?

or first max blast?

I want to know for which book I should choose , since I would pick the skill I'm going to max first..... After the damage buff I already said lazor was gonna be better ,but all the buccs on my alliance saying no :S

I'll buddy you to talk ingame

I did low sp skills (except time leap) and then viperisation and blast. I'd recommend that.

is Sharkwave worth getting as an Adventurer? Last I read those Lunar Dew things had an extremely low drop rate?

edit: and is CSB -> SSK til you can get Energy to go CSB -> EBlast the most optimal rushing technique? (Marauder) Dunno if much has changed since the Alien Invasion thing (didn't really play then either, just did for the ring)

It's worthwhile in 3rd job, but by the time you most likely muster up the determination to get through it to the point it's useful, you'll probably already be in 4th job, where it's easily replaced in both classes.

It's a lower % damage skill with a lower cast time with long range and castable in the air. It isn't COMPLETELY useless, but it's useless for the effort you need to get it to be useful.

Endorsing this.
There's a reason that TB's are so incredibly OP'd, and it's Energy Blast. It's the best mob move you'll get, for sure.
Put 1 in EB, max Viperisation, put some points into Guard Crash, Double Dice, and Counter, then come back and max Blast. Then DS, MW, Nautilus, and TL. Doesn't really matter after you get those first 5.
And for the guy asking about sharks, they're nice for a good AoE attack to charge energy so that you can get back to spamming Energy Blast.
Not necessary at all, but I'd say it has it's uses.

If you can do it in like 2-3 hours it's maybe worthwhile, any longer then not really.

As a marauder, the optimal training technique is double spiral > csb > repeat until you're on the other side of the map.

My bad. I've been thinking all of the questions were about post-revamp recently, since most have been.

Any Bucc players here use a gamepad? Having a hard time figuring out where to map what, like it seems impossible to fit everything. Didn't have much of a problem on my Marauder.

Oh hey, I've got one of those too, never really used it though... what program are you using to map the keys to the pad? Or is that done automatically via something in Windows?

As of right now automatically. I used to use Joy2Key or something but I don't know if Nexon blocked it.
