Oi oi oi, calm down Link. That being said, who here has actually fought Orca so far? If so, can you confirm whether her real English name is Orca or Orchid?

The quests are so zapped apart that I feel like I'm gonna fight Orca before or soon after 3rd advancement. It really feels..... unfair that Mercedes doesn't have a fully spanning storyline - Mushking Empire made sense in that Mercedes was helping a fellow nation, much like Cygnus was helping someone much wiser and much more experienced than her; however, Kerning Square made ZERO sense to her storyline. Seriously, what does she gain in helping some random dude become an epic phailure of a pop star, ruled by copyrights? If anything, Kerning Square seemed like VERY out of place filler in her storyline (would've made more sense if Mercedes was helping the Nymphs in Orbis - at least THAT makes sense, since it would connect with her race's siblings - from 1-30 we sorta mingle with the Sylphs, and from 35-50 we help the Nymphs).

Since an Orbis questline would have EASILY been able to connect to Chryse in that technically speaking Orbis and Chryse are distant neighbors, not to mention Ericsson is a messenger of the Gods of the Nymphs (that's how I see it anyways).

Then from there, the Hiver confrontation would play out, and it would culminate in an epic showdown with Orca in Edelstein, bringing Mercedes' solo timeline to a close as she reunites with Aran, discovers present-day Freud(AKA Evan), and somehow bumps into Phantom during all this mess.

That kind of questline would've been so much more epic, I'd main the Hero classes for the rest of my life if they did that.

1. iirc, Orca/Orchid is a level 73 quest. I'm just guessing because I think Hiver or Dargoth is level 63 since I know you fight Dargoth and Orca are in the questline, but I haven't fought them at level 60.
2. In the beginning, Mercedes acts like a spoiled brat. "WTP?! I'M LEVEL 10?! ARE YOU PINEAPPLEING KIDDING ME?!" and "Are you messed up in the head? YOU'RE MAKING THE FREAKING SOVEREIGN OF THE ELVES PICK UP A PIECE OF PAPER! HELL NO! I HAVE PEOPLE TO DO THAT!"
3. @Dark Link: Yes, I do admit I do. Since it's my main/favorite class.
4. I so wish they gave them that kind of storyline! Then again, if it as like, say, Mercedes with Phantom, every single NPC would be like "Hi Mercedes! Aren't you dating Demon Slayer. Are you cheating with Phantom?

Doing the Cygnus Apology quest available after finishing the main story quests on Mercedes gives you a Royal Decrees (level 90 Dual Bowgun)

However, this bowgun is special, as it comes with an automatic Item Name Tag applied to it, which i was really surprised about:

I don't understand what the rush is for...I can only assume if you're getting the char past 70 it's because you want to play it which means you'd want to enjoy it...so I can understand rushing to 4th job but I don't see what everyone's obsession is to get to 200 so fast o.o

Here's the reason, Clam. Technically, if you think about it, they all want a shot at the Region First Level 200 Mercedes. This way, they can... um.... "secure" their spot as "epic gods" of whatever server they reign. Not to mention, they can also have something to brag about.

'Course, this would easily be taken by dem Chinese farming bastids. Because lord knows they'll always be the one to hit 200 whilst they're accumulating goods to sell.

If anyone gets to 200 by touching Jesters, MP3 or LHC (we can pretty much assume that all LHC maps are going to be glitched at this point) then they are far from "epic gods" and certainly have nothing to brag about.

There are only two/three maps in LHC with only two types of monsters that are actively glitched and not even all of those channels are glitched. There are a total of 6 monsters in LHC.

2x win. At level 65, I'm using 2x+1.5x coupon+10% Mercedes boost. Around 2863 a mob, around 1% a mob.

I should be 7x by the end of the hour.

Hello? It's how Maple works right now. Sad truth, but it's like that.

If they haven't actually done anything until now it means they either don't find it an important issue to address ASAP or don't care at all. Obviously, that way everyone and their mothers will be doing it. Eventually it'll be considered legit by most of the people, and this process is already in progress.

I mean, duped items and the like are already considered legit. It's hard to say that you have godly equips unless they're duped.

God. 2x + 1.5x is so broken.
Then again, prior to this I had never experienced anything over 2x experience.

Thanks to 2x, 1.5x, Pendant, and Mercedes boost, I got level 64-70 in an hour.

You missed the pseudo-sarcasm. It was blatantly obvious that I was mocking them for their foolish attempt.

In a purist Mercedes playthrough where one hits 200, the following things are (at least to me) forbidden (and I've done a few, so I'm automatically impure):

-Any Masteria involvement whatsoever. Since all of Masteria avoided the Black Mage's Big Bang (not to mention Mercedes' storyline doesn't even involve Masteria whatsoever), this automatically means it is taboo in a purist Mercedes to involve yourself with this particular continent.*
-Any World Tour content. Technically speaking, World Tour exists in a realm that is disconnected and disjointed from Maple World, both genre-wise and storywise.
-Not fighting the Black Wings (especially Orca). Skipping the storyline means you're just using Mercedes as a mule to get her EXP buff, and treat her as an Explorer not worth your devotion save getting that buff from her.


*Note: I did the first, so I can't be a purist in that sense - though that makes me at the very least 2/3rds purist Mercedes.

Explorers are free to ignore the aforementioned conditions, as they really don't have to be tied to any one storyline anyways (even Explorers are fighting the Black Mage simply because, well, they can and they want to. They aren't obligated to by any means.).

I thought MP3 had been rebalanced by big bang, hence the new level of the mobs.

What is the problem with that one?
