For supports? Check Xpecial and Nhat Nguyen's runepages, they are probably the best NA supports (CLG's support status is up in the air, so) and I don't think either of them run anything but flat MR glyphs, Xpecial runs scaling AP or something when he plays Soraka.

Yeah but wrigges is more of a AA/Melee/Jungle Item, or if you are slow clearing creeps waves like vayne (She has absolutely no AoE).

That's what it's meant as, but recently I've seen it taken a lot just because of the free ward. I've always wanted to use a character that could run a Wriggles, I love the utility it gives at every stage in the game by letting you free ward. But I'm a trash jungler, so there's never really been an option for me to grab it. It's Minion-hit can proc off Ezreal-Q as well, so while it may be meant for AA's, he can utilize it just fine. The minion smack doesn't really cost any extra gold as well, the cost on Wriggles is nice and low. It's totally a preference thing with me to take it over BT, I played support for a long time and got used to being able to ward the world, but it's pretty viable I think.

That's an interesting idea for keybindings, I might have to try that.

@lorx, the range of Ezreal Q its way better than that of any AA although it damages the first thing it hits. So it beneficts a lot more From Raw AD than what Wriggles gives you. Besides Ezreal its a great farmer by itself by using his R (If you spam your Q as you should the CD its nothing, even more so with CDR Boots).

Yeah but it's 1600g for half a BF sword, great lifesteal (same as a unfed BT), a touch of armor, and a refreshable ward. You can save your team 75g every 3min, that's a lot of gold in decently long games. One of my favorite items in the game.

And yeah, I farm a ridiculous amount with R spam because of Q spam etc etc.

At least its recomendable to sell it on the Late-EndGame and buy a BT because it becomes essencially worthless most of the time and you can make more use of the Additional Lifesteal and AD which wriggles gives but in Very little quantities.

Support with CS? Blashphemy. And in the Late-End game wards can be bought en Mass without much worries so wrigges becomes meh.

Dunno, the cost of the Wriggles is worth it by wards alone if the game lasts (1600/75= ) 21 wards long, so any game that goes on over an hour past when you buy it.

Im surprised at how weak ahri is against "In your Face" champs, but i guess thats the same with any Skillshot/Caster. Mid is definitively the best place for ahri but if you are going for top you will have to watch for the bushes. (Since top is usually the place for "in your face" champs), also it may be that ahri early game its just plain weak. (She can get pretty good mid/late game though)

I had the pleasure of playing with Lorx and his friends for the first time just now. Mostly cool group, pretty conservative in terms of playstyle, and a little strange in priority, but they seem to know how to do dem mind games. Although it wasn't cool that he never mentioned they were in Vent.

Also went on a 6 kill spree with Soraka early game. It... just happened that way. lulz xD

In the case of Soraka, she can be almost out of base indefinitely for whatever reason. I've seriously considered it a couple times just so I don't find myself going "oh wait I'm out of wards". Hell, the first time I went back in the game I just played with Lorx as Soraka, I had almost 4k spare gold xD Unspent gold is wasted potential in getting shyt done.

In terms of math... you're better off getting a GP5 item and sitting on it. A Lantern produces a 75 gold ward every 3 minutes, while in that same time span, Philosopher's Stone produces 90 gold.

The tradeoff of occupying your last slot with Wriggles is that you can only place one ward in one spot every three minutes. If you lose that ward before then, tough luck. I'd rather have an empty slot for wards if your job is to be the ward monkey, as your income generally tends to be enough to keep them coming in to a reasonable amount. You definitely can't sustain wards + oracle's if you are repeatedly dying though.

I tend not to buy Wriggle's if it's mid game or later. I could be wrong in doing this, but usually I get Wriggle's on Soraka if I find myself having to hold the tower for long periods of time. Which is to say, something's wrong if that happens.

Wriggle its a pretty damn good item, but only if you bother getting it on the early game, late game its a little more useful to sell it and buy something else since the stats are pretty low for that time. And im never saying that a ward its not worth it, but for the mid/late game you will need moar wards that what wriggles will ever give you at a given time.

Also i have learned this past 3-5 games that should never take a game for granted in the mid/late game. A single Ace can net you a Uber Push from the first/second tower down to the inhibitor/nexus tower. Its pretty amazing.

Well dah, Udyr and Lee Sin where pretty much obvious the Best Jungler out there. I have less Experience with and against Skarner so i did not know he was in that tier.

Case in point, the last time I jungled, I jungled Skarnerssss. One of my teammates with a shytty computer or something had to restart before minions spawned, and then the server outage due to Ahri locked him out for the rest of the match. See, I jungle, we lose. Seriously, what the hell.
