Massive lag from Battleship/Mounts

Whenever a Corsair uses Battleship or someone gets on a mount, I receive a ridiculously large amount of lag. (But sometimes it's fine)
Can anyone explain the cause of this and tell me if it's possible to fix?

Mount lag, Nexon incompetence, no fix short of going to Los Segundes, CA, and slapping some asians silly.

Well, glad to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this.

All you can really do is restart your client and hope the client chooses some other mount to freeze lag you.
