That song was hilarious, it was about who voted how on the bailout bill I believe.

By the way, I can't vote. I'm only 13.

The first African American president, awesomeness. I couldn't care less who wins, but Obama won anyways, so lol. But yeah, as long as the economy is more stable, gas prices doesn't get any higher, and my financial-aid and pomegranate doesn't get cut off, I'm happy. Same goes for taxes, as long as that doesn't get higher either. Yay for tax-returns/refunds.

I hope Obama grows a presidential beard. Looking at that president chart it's obvious that all the cooler presidents had one.

Everyone knew Obama was going to win and that McCain really had no chance at all. I'm excited for this change and to see what he can bring to this country. Obama's speech was awesome. What a great day he had after a horrible month with his grandma.

OBAMA 08! I can't believe we found out so quickly though 0_O. I thought for sure we would find out like at 1-2AM EST like '00 & '04. Thank goodness for no re counts. I commend McCain for his concession speech, he took it like a champ, even though Palin looked like she was going to burst into tears. I watched the entire event on C-span! LOL at all the McCain supporters calling in saying "I am ashamed to be an American right now" lmao that was EPIC. I wanted to call in and say "Then get the hell out of America then lmao" Biggrin Can't wait to see what he brings to the table! No F-ups please Tongue Also did anybody know that our contract is up in Iraq in December? yes we do have a contract with the Iraqi govt. But they want us to stay there for another 3 years or so..

People call it a landslide if it's a super win with electoral votes right? 0_o never really understood that... But popular vote was super close, but seeing as that really doesn't matter, meh.

I look forward to whatever he has to offer, but he has a big burden on his shoulders. If people see him F-Up even a little, they'll basically scream bloody murder and ruin future minority (aka non-white) candidates. But that's how our country is. Hopefully it doesn't escalate to that.

Can anyone link me to McCain's concession speech? i was working the polls all yesterday and want to see this so-called great speech. =)

It's all over youtube.

If you want to see a landslide vote, check the election of 1980. Reagan won by a landslide.

The reason the popular vote was so close is because In almost every state that Obama won, the vote was split almost evenly in every state. You only need 1 more vote than the other guy to win the entire state's electoral vote.

For example. Obama won North Carolina by only 0.3% popular vote.

Obama won by about 6% in the popular vote, meanwhile he won by almost 200 electoral votes...

Shows how similar they work.

Wanna know a cool fact? The weekend of 10/31, 53% of the members of Xbox Live were projected to vote for Obama. CNN also had the same exact projection percent for the same weekend. :3
