KMST 1.2.411 - Phantom

At first I had no idea what you were talking about.
Then I looked up the ranges of Dragon Roar and compared them to the ultimates.
Y'know what?
Steal Mist Eruption, Dragon Roar, and any other huge AoE's.
Horizontal AoE isn't AS good, but something like Energy Blast (or sharks) would do wonders.

Yeah.. I suppose since you can't take any of the passives that make the skill really buff up. Meso Guard definetly one of the best survival skills, Charges i'm not entirely sure, you'll just end up at LHC or at kru/captain till 110.. no real element advantage to exploit in these areas sadly..

Yeah rapid fire for sure.. Nothing else really compares since you can't suck up resistance skills or other hero skills... yet.

For a more boss oriented skill set you'd probably want threaten in there, followed up with Rapid Fire. Trying to think of another good active skill.. maybe crusader orbs... if puppet is available that wouldn't be to bad either imo..

Mist Eruption + Dragon Roar such good synergy.

Throw in Twilight Finish as a finisher and pure swag is the result.

You could, but I don't see much point in it when you can get that skill already.

I see your point.
Never played a F/P, could you guess?

MW 30 at level 120?

RedRaven16 Wrote:MW 30 at level 120?

The steal skill has to be level 20 to get level 20.
And so on and so forth.

If you only spent 1 SP on the steal skill in 4th job, you'll only get Maple Warrior 1.

Impossible. Your Talent of the Phantom Thief IV skill needs to be level 30 in order to accept level 30 skills.

Ex) Your Talent of the Phantom Thief IV is level 13. This means you can only use 4th job skills with the effect at level 13.

Cheap alternative to actually buying mw30, haha.

Teppi Wrote:then wouldn't the perfect combination for survival + dps be:
2nd - meso guard
3rd - 1 of the 3 elemental charges (+140% dmg + elemental advantage compare to 125% non-advanced combo)
4th - rapid fire?

Yeah, but elemental weaknesses barely exist...

1ST JOB GET HASTE, MAGIC GUARD, DASH, DARK SIGHT.
2ND JOB GET MESO GUARD, HYPER BODY, POWER GUARD, RAGE.
GET 3RD JOB ENERGY CHARGE, COMBO ATTACK, SHADOW PARTNER.
4TH JOB ADVANCED COMBO AND RAPID FIRE.

Many will see it, but none shall stop it.

Why are you guys trying to find the ultimate build? It doesn't exist. Pick where you're going to train, and then tailor your build to the map/mobs for the best training potential. To say that there's one best build is ridiculous.

I'd have to call this to question. Depending on the definition of a "good build", there necessarily exists the corresponding best build(s).
It's not like we have options, really. Even by your relative definition, a good build serves to better the training process, which is a matter of how much damage the character deals to how many mobs in how much/little time. If there were 1 vs 1 training style in MS in addition to 1 vs many (or possibly more ways to level up beside mindless grinding), I'd agree with you at the drop of a hat.
