Let me rephrase it:

When you actually summon a crew member, you'd get an additional +30 atk to your range, just like any other buff (to replace the +atk that Corsairs used to get while riding on the boat).

* If Muirhat is summoned, you get +10% higher critical damage
* If Valerie is summoned, you get +10% critical rate
* If Jack is summoned, you get +20% HP/MP and +20 speed.

As far as I can tell, we are both hypothesizing. If you have evidence, or have seen that the crew will increase your damage (rapid fire, fusillade, etc.) by +10%, just say so.

That would only make sense if the PDR was a "progressive tax", but it's not. It's a "flat tax".

To put it into an equation:
(X% * PDR_Const) + (Y% * PDR_Const) = (X% + Y%) * PDR_Const

And for an example with numbers:
If you have Rapid Fire (X% = 330%) and Final Attack (Y% = 70%), and are fighting a monster with 20% PDR (PDR_Const = 0.8), you get:
(330% * 0.8) + (70% * 0.8) = 264 + 56 = 320%
and
(330% + 70%) * 0.8 = 400% * 0.8 = 320%

Wow. That's soooooo much better than our current 3000% x4 fully-charged Assassinate without Shadow Partner.

Yeah, the current Assassinate requires charging, but so does the new Assassinate.

So I made a punchpirate in kmst yesterday. Only 97 atm, but if anyone wants to ask something about buccaneers now's the time. You can jumpcast screw punch but not double spiral. And there's this weird thing about sp>doublespiral>sp>doublespiral. And so far my main training regimen has been that, back and forth across sand rats, b-3, c-2, lab 202. You have to cast the next one IMMEDIATELY after the first one or else you're stuck with a few seconds of delay.

A weird phenomenom I've noticed at herb town pirates is that sometimes when you're comboing sp>spiral>sp>spiral, you APPEAR to take damage, but your hp doesn't go down. o_O It may be an issue with MISS not appearing, though.

So Corsairs are OK except they could use a few tweaks

Shadowers would only need band of thieves back to be perfect

NightLords are fine as there isn't much that can be done with them

How do buccaneers stand now? Is there any good side to them after this patch? Like damage-wise or something (I know they now are can hit perfect criticals but does that help their damage enough to put them on part with other jobs? )

I might have been planning on playing one if the thief hero wasn't also coming out.

I'm confused, I thought Sudden Raid's cooldown was 30 seconds, so why does it say 3150 ms (3.15 s)?
