Oh based god, gib me less lag

For those that are interested, the WCG Grand Finals are starting tonight and continue for the next few nights I believe. LoL section should be up in around 10 minutes. Here's the teams if you're interested in who is playing. And here's the general stream. The LoL should be up shortly and run for approximately 2 hours? (I think), but right now it links to nowhere. I'm really hoping they showcase some of the more intense or interesting match ups and the casters aren't terrible, but only time will tell.

Edit: If I just heard correctly, Elementz and Daemon? Demon? will be casting, should be good. Like the first choice as he's a pretty solid pick for knowing the ins and out of competitive play, and relatively famous/infamous for his tier lists in the NA servers, not sure who the other person is. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

 Another great jungle Cho game

Didn't carry this time, but oh boy gotta love it when last hitting with Feast adds up to "oh fk what do?" for the enemy.

Disclaimer: I got Atmas just for the shi'ts and giggles since I had lots of moniez left after getting my full build (I'm now tanky dps! Oh wait-). Usually this is not one of the items I would seriously recommend on Cho, but hey a 200+ AD Cho is lulzy (having 3600+ HP makes Atmas nice). And also since I had extra gold left, I switched out 2 items for what you see above.

I don't see aAa on the list, did they rename or are they just not around? Was hoping to see a rematch between them and Fnatic, was a really good match when they fought for first place in Season 1.

No clue who that D(a)emon guy is but it'll be interesting to hear Elementz talk on things though, at the least.

@lorx: They only showed two matches. It's round robin style, so everyone plays one game against each opponent in their group once and the top 2 move on. aAa, or Team France, is in Group D, should be playing tomorrow sometime if I remember the schedule correctly. Fnatic doesn't exist for this particular finals btw. Everyone got split up by nationality, so you end up with CLG Canada vs CDE which are essentially TSM and CLG split in half with half in the US team, and half in the Canada Team.

Not sure if they'll showcase any France matches though because WCG are being idiots and only showcasing like 2 hours worth of LoL games, which generally means we get two matches selected from all the ones played that day. Here's the match results so far, but I'm not sure when they'll get updated.

First streamed game was Germany (Acer) vs Vietnam (Siol). Germany beat them pretty solidly imo. Hated the poor camera control from whomever was doing it, which was not Elementz or Daemon. Elementz proved to be insightful and fulfilled a lot of my expectations as a caster. Hope he'll do more of them for the showcased matches.

Second streamed game was Spain (MYM) vs US (Dignitas) and streamed a solid 20-30 minutes late. Quality was terrible, but pretty solid play from Dignitas. Didn't have Elementz casting, so I ended up watching Dan Dinh talk about it. Way more insightful than whomever they had doing it even Dan was a little inebriated at the time. XD

Overall, debating whether I'll watch any more due to the average to terrible stream quality, but still enjoying watching top teams/players competing. CDE vs CLG Canada is the one I think everyone's looking forward to as far as NA goes, but I'm also wondering what some of the other teams will look like compared to them.

So just finished a ranked game, went something like this:

 I wrote a little too much I think

• Champ select full of people arguing over which of the three people who can jungle, should. In the process we end up making a really...weird teamcomp of GP (me), WW, Bear, Orianna, and Kog. I offer to jungle but warn I've never tried it before, and am told to go bot lane with a support. Which we don't really have.
  
• Game starts, WW and Bear both dash towards top lane. They then argue for a minute or two, resulting basically with Bear saying "My lane gtfo" and WW saying he would jungle at level 4, since he started with boots expecting to lane, no smite, etc. Bear throws a fit, and does not stop complaining about this for the first fifteen minutes.
  
• Bear notices the enemy team has a Riven he played with the previous game, and said she "was the same as the <omitted> WW". He then spends the rest of the 49:53 long game chasing her around like she was a pinata full of blackjack and hookers, while generally acting like, well, he had been before but with his rage focused on the Riven that's not even on our team.
  
• Meanwhile bot, kog and me make a deal that I'll farm up a Philo, then call myself a 0cs support gangplank for the purpose of laning phase. I teleport back-and-forth to get the philo, in the ten seconds I'm gone kog explodes. First blood.
  
• Top and mid then proceed to feed about a total of 15-ish kills to the enemy team during laning phase, while making two kills of their own.
  
• Back in botland, the second Kog gets back we double kill Trist and Leona. They return, and we double kill them again. Their (jungle) Cho tries to gank, kills nobody, Trist/Leona return again, die again, but take me with them. Cho comes back bot with them, and me/kog kill all the cho, Leona/trist flee.
  
• Midgame goes terribly, enemy team gets like 3 Baron's in a row, deaths everywhere, etc. Me & Kog continue to get kills throughout. We lose 2 top towers, 3 mid towers, 1 bot tower, and enemy team loses 2 mid and 1 bot.
  
• About 35min in, kog hits winmode out of nowhere, and I get fullbuild. Enemy team gets baron again, gets aced, we push middle inhib and the first top turret, second bottom turret. They ace us twice, we ace them three times, and somehow neither team manages to push anything. They split-push and take out middle inhib (again), and all of bot that was left by that point. Three of them die on the retreat, and we push to win after acing them on their nexus turrets.
  
• Somehow, I ended with my best Plank score ever.
  

Where's that "I shouldn't be alive" jpg when you need it?

Had a game today where WW was standing at the turret, AFK and the Xin shouting "COME ON MOVE" for 5mins. Xin ragequits the game after feeding first first blood and about 5 kills.

WW finally wakes up and feeds like hell.

Me (Corki) and Ryze duo bot whilst Veigar takes mid. Me and Ryze do a decent job of pushing them back, rarely dying and killing them a few times. Got their first turret down when I see 3 of their team at our turrets in top lane. 3 turrets go down. Then, they retreat and I see 3 at bot turret. Shout at team, pinging all the time, they're still chasing 2 champs at top lane. One of my team decides to turret dive the MF at top and dies. I try to get blue buff 'cos I can, then I see their GP. I try to escape with w and Flash but they kill me. I call a surrender and it won.

Worst game ever.

Great plan moron, take the blue ALWAYS since of course you are Volibear and absolutely need it, im just a messly caster that use rainbows and sunshine as my frigging Resourse so i absolutely dont need Blue since im NEVER on a shortage of rainbows and sunshine since every of my skills use a lot of it, but hey its not like i cant autoattack the enemy to death when i run out of Rainbows and sunshine for my skills.... pineappleing moron its called champion not Toons, please fall on a pit and die kthx.

Also come to think of it, is Shen in badland currently? I rarely see anybody play him, and when he' picked any pubs in the vicinity whine about it.

After all the nerfs, yeah. He was on his way down when Stand United's shield was weakened, the change to Ki Strike just sealed it.
