I already knew this happened but was interested to see what stewart had to say about it. Needless to say i lol'd pretty hard. Not because Hcain is gone, not because his quote was from a source meant for children and therefore made his speech be received less seriously, but because he went where no politician would go for the sake of being inspirational.

Years from now, I'm still going to remember the guy running for the Republican nomination that said, "I believe these words come from the Pokemon movie", props to the guy on being just really likeable. Too bad Herman Cain is blasting off again right now. Also, lol'd at Stewart showing what he knew about Pokemon, I found it almost equally as awesome as Herman Cain confirming the Pokemon reference.

They shouldn't, everyone know Cain* was a joke, he had no experience or logical stand point on any foreign policy, and his only redeeming quality, claiming that a flat tax would make everything much more simple therefore more efficient, was nothing more than a further benefit for the rich and would have continued to kick down the ones on/under the poverty line.

Yeah, we realize THAT people outside of the US do, but the reasoning behind that is a bit different in our eyes. Stereotyping. Just like most Americans believe the French are a horrible, cowardly, useless people (which, while probably untrue, doesn't change the fact that even their capital has streets filled with trash and they are all condescending assholes, at least when I visited the country, so I still don't really like them even if the reason is different), most countries outside of the US think we are all fat, lazy, and stupid. A lot of people here ARE fat, lazy, and stupid, but a lot of people in EVERY country are at least the latter two.

The French from Paris are really arrogant, it's true. If you go to other parts of France the people are really nice though.
