Impatient people with gunslingers will quit. Gunslingers don't get good until 4th job. Brawlers/Infighters seem to always be on the average part, from what I've seen anyway. Although transform and super trasnform look absolutely sick.

Another question, how long do you think it'll be until people stop making pirates at a super-fast rate? Since Pirates should be released right in the middle of Tech Week, I won't be able to play until the next week, and even then not that much,

I bet the servers are going to be flooded with lv 1-25 pirates that will never see second job when they initally come out. However, give or take a few months, pirates will be just as numerous as any other class.
As for me, I'm sticking with my pirate because I'm starting over with it as my new main.

I really don't think Corsair is going to beat out NL/Heroes/BM's in DPS. Their main attack is Battleship cannon and from the videos I'm not impressed.

pirate seem to be too situational...
either "good only when transformed"
either "good only when on battleship"...

When using battleship properly it should always be available. I would only be using it when I know all enemies that are in range are incapable of damaging my sexy kill boat. That is to say, frozen or dead.

...then people want the new Knights of Cygnus jobs, because of their overwhelming power of destruction.

i know i'll be leveling pretty slowly like i did with my bowmaster... and see how far it can go... ?
bowmaster managed to get to 121... after nearly 3 years and sort of stopped because many of the people i knew quit... so no more motivation to continue anyway...
i guess this'll be just an experiment to see

It'll most likely be 50% if not 75% of people who stop playing their pirate come January...
The best are the people who talk about 4th job skills when they don't even have a 4th job character now...if you don't have one now how do you expect to make one then?
As for me...Brawler all the way...I pretty much am on break from my Bishop...167 is an accomplishment for the amount of time I've been playing...it's time for something new ^^

My Plan? Get to 150 in a month.
HPQ, CPQ, Self Leeching, and Thanksgiving break are all Godsends.
I figured I can commit 4 hours a night to training on weekdays, 12 hours on weekends and holidays. Yay for no-lifing.
Most importantly, I don't plan on quitting anytime soon.
